[[Sorry sorry, always seem to fall behind when it comes to these things.. >< ]]
Aragorn knelt down beside Lalaith, gently removing her hand from his forearm. Instead he took it in his own hand, hoping to offer silent comfort. "Shh," he commanded, quieting the girl's incessant rambling. "Calm yourself. Everything will be all right." He stroked her burning forehead with his free hand, pushing away blonde tresses. "Thranduil's men will look after your wounds with extreme care. There is no need to worry. What is your name?"
------------
Aramel nodded at Ryninial as they followed the group past the gates of Mirkwood, holding Bree's reigns in her hand as they travelled through the trees. The horse clopped steadily along, having ridden Aramel though numerous battles, that no longer was the creature frightened. "It really is no problem... becoming skilled in the ways of handling a sword will be useful to you in these days of coming darkness. Mirkwood is no longer safe, it seems... I fear that this evil may come to Imladris as well." The elf maiden glanced backwards to see Thranduil's servants gathering the bodies of fallen comerades, and she swallowed the growing lump in her throat. This was the way her parents were taken, felled by orc-blades... she inwardly shuddered, knowing very well she could've suffered the exact same fate.
-----------
Talathion gazed in wonder at the beauty of the city, walking in somewhat of a cloud. He felt weightless as he went, too much in awe to notice the person in front of him. That was, until he bumped into them. "Oh, please forgive me... I was not paying attention.." he blushed crimson and bowed slightly, offering his respect.
[[Whoever wants to be the person he bumped into is fine with me]]

"No.. no" she mumbled, shaking her head wildly. "Please.. my people. That evil will kill them all. I tried to save them.." Lalaith's eyes became watery and eventually some hot tears were spilled on her pale cheeks. She shivered underneath her blanket but did not struggle anymore. She held on to the man's hand. He was a complete stranger to her, but as he was human, Lalaith considered him as equal, althoug she did not realise all of that then.

((*jumps to attention at the blast of the horn* ))
Taurvantian, native of Mirkwood though he was, never ceased to be inspired by the beauty of Thranduil's halls. This day, however, as captivating as those shadowy arches above were, he could not find it in him to focus on them. Silence had settled over the three gathered Elves as Ellethwen finished speaking, and Taurvantian nodded and looked quickly away. He had desired to speak with this newcomer from Lorien, Megildurion, but now he knew not what to say. Ellethwen's steady gaze upon him had unnerved him a bit, and he was still trying to recover his senses.
"I found the attack of the yrch to be very disconcerting," he finally said to Megildurion. "It is a poor way for one to be welcomed into Mirkwood. I hope that your stay here is much more pleasant than its beginning." He gave a slight bow and glanced from Megildurion to Ellethwen, so as to say that he had finished speaking.

Ellethwen looked around at the halls of Thranduil as Taurvantian spoke to Megildurion. They were beautiful and majestic in their splendour, yet Ellethwen did not express her wonder. She kept her expression carefully neutral. Yet inside, the traveller in her was impressed. Mirkwood was so different from her homeland of Lothlorien.
She was alerted from her thoughts as she heard Taurvantian finish speaking. Raising an eyebrow, she nodded. "A fair welcome party the yrch were," she commented dryly. "I hope not to have to resort to using my longbow again on my stay here. I carry it only as a necessity." She turned her dark blue eyes to her companions, silent once more. Her gaze hesitated as she saw Taurvantian looking at her, then she quickly looked away.
What was this she felt for him? It was so confusing. Ellethwen had never felt any real affection for very many people. She had never been in love before; she had always told herself that love was for other people. She had always thought that there was nothing wrong with being alone.
Mirima was glad to be home, back in her usual surroundings, with her family beside her. As a princess, she was used to all the grandeur and beauty of her home; she was used to everything that was bright and rich, and no stranger to anything that glittered. In her chamber, she had a wardrobe full of gowns that flashed and sparkled under the light, in the autumn colours of her home; tiaras, chokers bound with sparkling gems... Yet none of this showed in her personality. She was not conceited, nor did she seem spoilt. On the contrary, she showed rare kindness to everyone, whether they be Elven gentry or the poorest of elves.
Mirima had taken a particular shine to Ellethwen especially. She saw in the Lorien maiden an immense grace and dignity, and however cold she could be, Mirima sensed that her new companion in fact wanted to make friends, however she was used to isolating herself. And the Mirkwood princess had already guessed Ellethwen's feelings for Taurvantian; she was only too keen to play matchmaker.
Smiling towards Ellethwen and Taurvantian, Mirima felt excited. Didn't they know they were perfect for each other?

[[so sorry to you all... I have had school and it is sucking me into its scholarlyness and it's no fun... but I will try to get on as much as I can to post]]
Legolas saw the look in his father's eyes and he knew the King was concerned. Legolas hated worrying his father, worrying his siblings... they should not be worrying about him but the other travelers who had come to Mirkwood and attacked for no reasons whatsoever.... Those were the people that needed help now, not him. Though he knew if he were to say this his family would think otherwise.
"Ada, the goblins attacked from the East and the South, I fear they are under the control of a greater evil..." Legolas began trying to keep his breath calm so that he did not faint from the poison flowing in his system now.
Thranduil sighed, he had still to read the letter that had been delivered to him, but he felt that he needed to speak with the Mithrandir immediately. The wizard had information that he needed, for that he was sure of.
"Ion-nin, see the healers. I know you are stubborn and will not go so Sylied take him, and bring the human to the healing chambers as well as Ryninial."
-------------
Ryninial was already on her way to the healing chambers with Aramel beside her. "I fear that as well, the goblins and yrch grow bold and the air brings a sad song, an omen I fear of what is to come" Ryninial shuddered as she kept her eyes forward,. Though she was used to seeing so much blood and disaster, it still broke her heart to see those she knew in pain.

Sylied Bowed his head quickly towards his fatrher and placed a steadying hand around Legolas' back.
"Come brother," he said calmly. "You really must get to the healers."
Sylied lead him over to the nearest empty bed and called over the healer to tend to his wound.
"It's poisened," he told her.
