"Oh dearest!" Aranelwen exclaimed as she went to Amara's side. "Dearest, perhaps it will all work out. Perhaps when the other girls dump him he will come running to you. Then you can heal his bruised heart." Aranelwen tried to keep her voice hopeful but she knew that if Legolas found out to soon that he would have a hard time forgiving Amara.

Amara continued crying, and covered her face. "I should've never done this to him, Aranelwen. I'm such a cold-blooded beast!" She exclaimed. She wrapped her arms around herself. "I think that I love him..." She whispered the last part.

"Hebo estel." Aranelwen said softly. "Hope remains. What if you went to him now, crashed his date and told him your true feelings?" Aranelwen tried to smile but what crossed her face was but a poor shadow of a smile.

OOC: Can I take control of Leggsie now?

OOC: Yeah, you can... they haven't RPGed in a few days now.

Amara wiped her tears away quickly and then looked into Aran's eyes. "I can't do that... he doesn't feel the same way." She shook her head and looked to the ground. She couldn't believe how stupid she had been.

Aranelwen tried to comfort Amara as best she could but she did not know her cousin's feelings anymore than Amara did.

Meanwhile Legolas was far from enjoying his date with Aramel, although his outward appearance spoke nothing but attentiveness, inwardly he was remembering Amara's softness, her surprised smile after he kissed her, her flawless appearance that all elves had but in her it was so captivating. He scarcely heard what Aramel was saying about the archery contest that was coming up. He shook his head and blurted "I'm sorry Aramel, I can't do this anymore. Thank you for coming with me on this date but.." he paused and sighed "I..I just... can't.. not anymore. Namarie." he kissed her cheek and hurried inside to find Amara. He knocked on her door but there was no answer. He had just about given up hope when he heard voices coming from Aranelwen's room. He knocked quietly, almost afraid of being heard.

Aranelwen jumped at the knock. Who would be wanting to see her at this hour!?! She was just as startled when she saw Legolas' face through the cracked door. In her confusion she shut the door on him and whispered to Amara "It's him!"

Amara's eyes widened, when Aran told her that Legolas was at the door. She quickly stood up and wiped her tears away. Not that it did much. Anyone could tell that she was crying. She cleared her throat and straightened out her dress. She looked back to Aran and nodded; telling her she was ready. She slowly walked towards the door, and stood next to Aran.

Legolas was so stunned that he didn't move so when Aranelwen opened the door again he was still standing there. As the door opened wider he saw Amara. He gasped and then his heart melted as he saw traces of tears on her face. Had he caused those? He stepped forward and took Amara into his arms. Neither noticed Aranelwen quietly slip out.
"I'm so sorry." he whispered knowing there was nothing else to say.

(It's late, and my aunt is bugging me to get off the compy. Goodnight.)

Amara held him tightly and closed her eyes, happily. "You don't need to apologize..." She whispered back to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and sniffled a little bit.
