(OOC: So do I. Just a question, where is your brother?)

Morwen stood and walked to the the crest of the eastern side of the hill and looked down from the dropoff at the rolling green grass. Deawen and Artinwe came and stood beside her. "Alright, this actually is not a personal matter. You know I have the habbit of retrieving valuables off of orcs. Well, last night, I found this ring." She took the ring from her pouch and let the sun catch the sunstone (OOC: google for an image of sunstone, very pretty *shiny*) "I found this on one of the uglier brutes. It is a minor ring of power, Rohirric, probably made by Wulfstan the Disowned. It affects sight, if you care to try it. Hearing is dimmed." She handed the ring to Artinwe to get his Elven opinion.

Deawen shoved her hands into her pockets of her dress.

"First, Morwen, how do you know its effects?" Artinwe asked, with some accusation. "I tried it on," Morwen replied, hoping he would'n't blow up at her. Her hopes were soon dashed as Artinwe scolded, "How could you do that? You had no idea what it might do to your child! I have no idea what this is, but you said it enhances sight and dims hearing? That sounds very roughly the opposite of that of the Ruling Ring. But how came a Man, no less one of Rohan, to make such an object? I was under the impression that all of the Lesser Rings were made by the Elves. Curious." "Anyway," Deawen interrupted, "Morwen, could we have a look at the rest of your spoils? I want to see if there is anything interesting in there." "Assuming I'd give any of it to you," Morwen muttered, just loud enough for them to hear. They all laughed as if they were adolescents again (except for Artinwe; he had not been an adolescent for more than a hundred years), and went back to the others.

(Jax, are you going to leave to discover more about the symbol? I'm not trying to get rid of you; I'm just sayin'.)

Morwen was getting defensive. "I don't know! I guess I just don't think clearly in my...condition!" she said the last word with a fascetious sneer. "The history of Wulfstan sayds that he was interested in magic. From various sources, I gathered that his father and family disowned him because he was a 'man-freond,' (OOC: look it up to see what it means). He took refuge in an elven stronghold, where he learned some magic and crafting. He is not written down in the elven logs because he was considered a blemish on the record, so to speak. He started to go out of his rights with the elves, and was banished again. This time he found a cave in the highlands of Rohan and set up shop making charmed jewelery. I've seen the ruins of his workshop on patrol. There is no evidence he was ever involved in what we would call the occult. I mean 'we' as in Rohirric people."

(Might go to find out)

"I don't even know if the thing is inteligent enough to bargin with, it hasb't seemed as such on my previous incounters. But it's worth a try. Perhaps we should find more information out about it before acting, although I don't want any of you to feel abligated to help you all have important tasks to tend to I am sure." Jaden started.

Jaden looked at Azher as the small dragon once again sounded in his language.

"Azher says there was a library in the cave wehre I found him, of stone tablets. Perhaps I should go." Jaden though said to himself as well as the others.

"Anyone who wants to come is welcome, but I do not wish to pull anyone else into my problems unwillingly."

Jaden reached in his pocket and pulled out a small map, opening it up and looking intently into it's scared surface.

"I can travel another four days with the group before I would have to alter my corse, if that is alright with everyone here of course. If somone does want (enfisis on want) to come let me know."

Jaden was not used to having so much attention focused on him and was slightly uncomfortable. He walked slowly out of the tent and gazed onto the horizen. It had been a long time since he had traveled with so many people, now once again he had brought his troubles on them.

"I will take my leve now, if you wish to reach me I will be on the far side of the camp." Jaden announced to the small goup.

Jaden walked slowly into the distance as Azher followed slowly behind. Walking through the camp old memories flowed in, some good, but most bad.

Memories of the time he was a member of the Sion. Times when he was one of there leaders none the less. "No, those times are gone now. That is but a shadown in the distance of another world that has long since faded." Jaden scolded himself softly as he walked.

"What times are gone now?..." Eleshna asked quietly from behind Jaden. She had followed him, with the intention of offering to go with him.

"Ah, never mind, I have a curiousity that could kill a thousand cats..." she smirked. "I came to offer my services, to go with you, that is."

She quickened her pace to walk beside him. "If there are tablets there, they may be in a different langauge. Do you know many? If not, I would offer to translate, for I have studied under many masters of langauges in my lifetime..."

Jaden turned to see Eleshna walking behind him. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice you.

Jaden looked ahead and kept walking.

"Your help is welcom, however I can not say what we will be getting into.
The tablets, I have not seen them, Azher says they are in a familier language though, more than likely you will be able to read them. I myself have spent my life training in combat not langueges, I will probably be quite lost." Jaden smiled.

Jaden paused his talking for a moment and then said relating to the earlier comment by Eleshna. "Curiousity can be a good thing. The times I spoke of were times long gone of a group of wariors from a far away place. But it has no bearing on the situation at hand..." "That I know of." Jaden said softly.

Eleshna smiled, "I am rarely noticed, because I usually make it my habit not to be noticed, so it is quite alright..."

Eleshna chuckled slightly, "I am sure we can handle, to an extent, anything we might run into...I personaly do not mind a little surprise in a trip...and any services I can offer, I would be grateful for the chance to do so."

She nodded her head to his explaination, "I see... "

Jaden mused at Eleshna's words. "It is considered a great skill amoung many to be able to go unoticed at ones will. But be sure, that any service you give will not go unoticed, I am gunuinely greatfull for your help."

"I hope we can handle it. But if anything goes wrong, just travel in the oposite direction as I am going, it will follow me not you." Jaden came as close to giving an order as he ever did.

After the short walk had halted where Jaden had been camping he asked, "How much longer until we depart?"

Eleshna let out a slight laugh, "Going unoticed is a necesity, and if I could not achieve such, I would not truly be a wood elf..." She smiled at his words, "hannon le"

"I must tell you, though, that I do not take orders easily... I run if there is trouble, but I run to the trouble... another bad habit of mine along with curiousity." she chuckled again.

Eleshna came to a stop as well and looked over the camp, "I would be willing to leave whenever you are, oh, and forgive me, I should have better manners." She gave a low bow, "My name is Eleshna."

"Pleased to meet you, my Name is Jaden Valdez."

"I don't want anyone else getting hurt on my account." Jaden explained his words.

Jaden pulled out his map once again as Azher steped over by his side.

"I do not know the quickest ways to travel, as I have said my life has been spent doing little more than combat training. But I had planned to take this rout." Jaden marked the rout with his finger.

"But if you know a better way, feel free to point it out. If we travel my path we will be able to ride with the others for four days yet."

Jaden walked over to his things while Eleshna looked at the old map.
He took out of his pack a small curved dager with a foot long blade and a five inch handle.

"For your services I give you this gift." Jaden presented it to her.
"It is from a long time ago, from a people who are no more. I have more than a man could use in two life times, please take one. They will inhanse your strength." Jaden informed her.

Eleshna nodded then looked over the map. "I believe if we take leave earlier, and take the lesser used forest paths, we can make a quicker return and perhaps wind up meeting the others at an area not far beyond the point you had first said we would part with them. Then if we have news, we can get it to them sooner than planned..." as she spoke, she pointed out the areas on the map.

She took the knife carefully and examined it. "hannon le, it is a blade of high value, and also great power, from what I can tell... I am surprised you wish to part with it. But if you ever wish to have it returned to you, do not hesitate to request its return." she bowed again.

"Alright, it sounds good to me. If you are ready we can leve now. With good fortune we may yet find a way to defeat this beast." Jaden responded.

After handing her the dager he replied to her words, "This is one of the many blades that were issued to all who..." Jaden paused, "To manny. I have twenty of them in my posetion as well as the one on my belt. It was made by a man Named Ketra, a very skilled crafter and a good man. I am sure you will find it satisfactory." Jaden said as he jumped on Syndar.

Jaden Then headed towards the nearest man to inform him that he and Eleshna would be leaving soon.

Eleshna nodded her head in agreement and began to fill and secure her satchel, encluding an extra cloak and blanket.

She tucked the dagger in her belt and listened to his words, her face somewhat puzzled as he paused, but she didn't ask further questions. "I will wield it with pride and put it to good use," she spoke with a smile.

She did not have a horse, but that did not matter, as she could walk swiftly enough. Eleshna figured it would also help to have someone on foot to view things at a different level, for safety's sake.
