Niko made sure he had everything and then followed. As he exited the house, the people began to cheer. He couldn't help a grin. He inclined his head politely, before offering them a roar of triumph. Did they know what he was?
He got up on his horse, and gave Nienna a warm smile.

She mounted Raven, grinning before giving Raven a signal. Raven reared into the air, kicking her front hooves before coming down into a flat out run for the gates. Nienna grinned "I missed you, old girl!" Raven tossed her head before giving a snort as if to say 'I'm not old!' Nienna laughed and looked back for her husband.

He watched as Raven reared into the air and galloped off. With a smirk he grabbed a bottle of ale, took a swig, then had his horse do the same, to the cheers of those gathered.
He followed and soon they found themselves away from Rivendell.

Taking a breath of air, she looked around "It seems like forever since we were out here on our own." she turned to give him a warm smile. "It brings back memories." her eyes went to the sky, then to the woods around them.

He nodded in agreement.
''Much has happened . But much has stayed the same also.''
He took in their surroundings. He could now see much clearer in the dark, as well as his other senses, they were all better. There were some perks then.

"That is true." she said with a soft smile. They had slowed to a steady pace now, side by side. She was content, yet missed him riding behind her. Her mind went to the wizard. Would they find him? She hoped they would, and in good time.

The rode in silence for a time, then Niko noticed that daybreak was not far off.
He looked around and didn't think he could see anywhere with shelter for the night. He drew his hood above his head and made sure his entire body was covered from the sun.
He kept his gaze downwards, just in case.

"should we try and look for a shelter?" she asked, noticing his dilemma and slowing the pace so his cloak would not slip off. She became worried now, for him.

''I'm not certain we shall find any. But we should look for a while, we may get lucky.''
He made sure his cloak was tight about him, and then they began to look.
He prayed they would find something.

They rode on, and she entually spotted an outcropping of the rocks. "There! We may have to move as time goes on, depending on the position of the sun, but it should work for now." she led him there and dismounted, thankful for the extra covering of some trees.

He smiled, happy they had some luck, especially as it looked as if it would not be long until the sun rose.
He dismounted after her and went to the shade, taking a drink of ale.
''Thank you'' he said, smiling.

"No need to thank your wife. She does this because she loves you." she turned her back as she began unpacking some things for food, drink, and rest should either of them decide to nap. "It feels strange setting up camp and not looking over our shoulders every minute."

He nodded in agreement.
''Yes, it does feel odd. Even in Rivendell it became hectic at times.''
He took another drink and lay back to look up at the sky.

She lay down beside him, watching him, then snuggled close. "Perhaps we should sleep the day away." she chuckled "Although we've done enough of that."

He put his arm around her and smiled.
''I hope you are not implying that we are lazy'' he said with a laugh.
''I'll have you know, my ale drinking is at an all time high''
His hand found her belly and he spoke, his voice now softer.
''One day''

"Lazy? Hardly." she said with a wink and a laugh, then she laughed some more as he said about his drinking. Her eyes grew soft at his next words and as his hand moved over her belly. "Yes. One day, love." she kissed his shoulder, her thoughts moving to that one day. Hopefully it would happen, although she was worried.
