Raelyn soon found Gernhart. he was in the houses of healing getting his wounds tended to. Raelyn walked with a slight limp from the battle. she smiled as she walked up to him. " well it looks like your on the mend." when Gernhart saw her he smiled. " yes. it looks like your feeling better too!" Raelyn looked at her hand and grimced. "yes. i saw my father! he looked happy to see me." Gernhart smiled and then grimced as one of the lady's tending to him sewed up a wound. " i saw him too. we talked for a few mins, then he went to find you. it sounds like he found you." Raelyn smiled once more. " yes he did." Gernhart went on. " i also told him that we won. but they may be back...it's a possiblity at least." Raelyns smile faded. she didn't want to fight again she had already seen things she did not want to see in the previous battle. Gernhart read her thoughts and frowned. " i told you that i didn't want you to fight." Raelyn looked him in the eye.
" i know but, i needed to show my father that i can stand on my own feet." Gernhart shook his head in disapprovement. Raelyn decied it was best to change the subject before she had to sit through another one of his lectures. "so who was that young woman with you?"
Gernhart thought about constance and her beautiful complextion and her striking green eyes. he soon came back to reality. " oh uh..." he stoped at what he was about to say next. he didn't know if Raelyn knew that contances was sent to protect Raelyn in the battle.

*Sarien quickly reached the gardens, and began her frantic search for the golden-haired Elf...........After looking for an hour, she still had not found him. With a great sigh, Sarien sat down upon an ivory bench and tried to gather her thoughts.*

"May I join you?" Came a fair voice behind her.

*Sarien whipped her head around to find herself staring at Legolas's smiling and shining face.*

"Legolas!" She said in delight.

*She stood up and hugged him affectionatly.*

"Oh thank goodness I found you!" Sarien said while sitll embracing him. "The orcs separated me from the group and from you. Then I was lost, then I came here, and fought, and won, then you and the other Elves came back! And..........Oh I am just so happy that you are unharmed!" Tears now flowed freely down her cheeks.

"Sarien, I am glad that you are unharmed as well." Legolas said with a smile. "The group and I thought that the orcs had taken you. But it is so good to see alive and well!" He said. "We should be getting back to the others now, I am sure they will want to know where we are." He took her hand and began to lead her out of the gardens.

"Wait." Sarien said letting go of his hand. "There.......there is something that I must tell you............."

"Tell me?" Legolas asked. His blue eyes sparkled with curiosity and confusion.

"Yes. I have been keeping it from you for some time now." Sarien said while blushing.

*Legolas had stepped closer to Sarien, so that they were eye to eye and only inches apart. Sarien could barely breathe. Her heart was beating wildly, as her hands softly trembled. She finally manged to gaze into his eyes and let these three words escape her mouth: "I love you." Once she had said this, Legolas simply smiled, took her face in his hands, and kissed her with the passion that they both shared for one another. Sarien did not know or care how long she and Legolas held their kiss, but when it had ended all they could do was remain in each others arms while letting go all their fears, troubles, and worries..........*

"Im anna nin gur." Legolas whispered sweetly in her ear. ("I give my heart".)

"Sui car Im." Sarien whispered back. ("As do I".)

Raelyn looked at Gernhart. " who is she Gernhart?" Raelyn pushed. Gernhart looked at the ground. " uh no one...dont worry about it." the lady who had sewed his sholder was done. Gernhart thanked her and he stood up and put his shirt back on. he saw Raelyns look. " Raelyn just don't worry about it." she sighed. " ok...." they both walked out of the houses of healing. " i would at least like to meet her."

Constince nearly ran into Gernhart and Raelyn in her hast to replace the dress she had borrowed. She quickly stepped aside allowing them to exit before she entered. She briefly looked up at Gernhart, then over at Raelyn half bowing in respect to the two of them as they were of higher rank. She then walked into the building and handed the dress to one of the healers saying, "Thank you for providing this... perhaps someone else will need it more than I?"

Gernhart gave Constance a big grin. when she walked away he thought to Raelyn. "<i> thats her" </i> Raelyn smiled. " i'll be right back." she said outloud.
"wait! i'm coming with you!" Gernhart exclaimed. Raelyn laughed. "ok" Raelyn walked inside the buliding and saw Constance giving a woman a dress. Raelyn looked at Gernhart, he looked like he was in awe of Constance. he looked dazed. Rae nuged him. " snap out of it." Gernhart blushed. " oh uh..yeah." Raelyn waiting for Constance to walk over their way.

Constince stopped the woman just as she was going to wlak away. "Would you know where I could find Lord Elrond?" She asked. The woman looked at her then nodded toward someone behind her, "He would know where you can find him." THe woman said, then walked off.
Constince turned to see Gernhart and Raelyn standing behind her.

Raelyn smiled and waved. " hello" Gernhart just stood there staring. Raelyn jabed him lightly with her elbow. he snaped out of it. " oh uh....hello....you look good....i mean...uh...you look better." he just stoped talking and rubed the back of his neck. Raelyn laughed. " my name is Raelyn. my Father is Elrond."
Gernhart steped in again. " yes and Lord Elrond would like to see you as soon as possible."

"A pleasure to meet you Princess. My name is Constince." She looked up at Gernhart. "Very well. Can you tell me where I might find him?" She smiled at the look on his face and then thought You're stairing

Raelyn almost burst into laughter. when she read both of their thoughts. " *giggle* you can find him prolly in the council area *giggled*"

Gernhart heard Conctance's thought and looked away. he thought back to her. <i> your eyes are so beautiful...i couldn't help but stare."</i> at that moment raelyn bursted out laughing she had to walk away.

Constince looked down at her hands. then back up at Gernhart . I believe that is the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time ... thank you out loud she said, "I had better find Lord Elrond."

Gernhart couldn't say another word. he simply smiled at her.

Raelyn stood right outside the door trying to calm her laugthing.

Elrond was in the palace reading awaiting Constance.

Constince quickly found Lord Elrond. "You wished to see me Lord Elrond?" She said as she dropped into a deep curtise.

Elrond looked at the young woman and nodded. " yes please sit." he motioned to a chair in front of him. " i am glad to see you were not too badly hurt in this battle." he watched her sit down. " does Raelyn know that you were there to protect her?" Elrond said in a serious tone.

"Not as far as I am aware Lord Elrond." Constince said in reply to his question. She looked him dead in the eye and said, "You asked me not to tell her, so I didn't, and I won't unless you ask me to."
