Rhan rode through the forest with Haldir, with whom she had become firm friends, and a little more. The had raced nearly to the end of Mirkwood forest, and back again, and their horses were slightly worn out. Haldir laughed at something she had said, and swept a flower off the ground, and presented it to her with a dazzeling smile. She took it grinning
