Eleshna shifted in the saddle and kept her gaze fixed ahead of her. She remained slightly behind the two, seemingly lost in thought.
Eleshna was bringing to memory all the historical documents she had read, and was trying to figure out the lineage of the Kaiat, but it was proving difficult, seeing as how she didn't have the documents with her at the time.
She let out a barely audible sigh and gave the thoughts up for later.

As night closed in the riders continued on in a hard ride.
They would have to ride fast if they were to reach the cave in time. And night was a better time to be awak then asleep with the beast following them.

Eleshna glanced behind her, as she thought she heard something. As they rode, she continued to occasional turn her head to look behind, and ever so often she could have sworn she saw a shadow.

Night faded into light again as the group of three riders traveled onward into the uncharted regions of the land.
They would reach the cave by midday if they kept up there current pace.

(OOC:God, I am busy for one day of lounging around in the props loft and I miss two pages of posting. mumblemumble*Ninnies*mumblemumble.)
"Well, I don't care what you say, I'm keeping it. Who knows when it may come in handy. Here, Artinwe, you try it, and you will see it is not malevolent."

( You said "Ninnies" haha)
"It is clearly not in thrall to the One, but I will not use it!" Artinwe retorted violently. "It does not need to be under the power of the Dark Lord to be of great evil!" [Seriously, woman, go play some Mozart for your baby or something.]
(I'm still waiting for an invitation...)

Deawen zoned out again feeling left out and not interested Morwen always loved rings (like shiny and spinny ones)she didn't understand what made somerings evil and others good she didn't care really even when the one ring was destroyed (but what if it wasn't?)she was obliviose to its purpose and evil (yea thats me) Deawen never wore rings so she didn't have a connection to shiny round objects.

(OOC: What is the reference to Mozart from? Workdays are fun, though Props crew doesn't have much to do. If you go to see the play, I painted the "Welcome Back Rydell High class Of '59.")
"Get of your high-elven horse, Artinwe! I have just as good a sense of good and evil as you!" with that, she stomped of to her tent and threw the ring into her pack. "Hwa mægen beon as dumb to scieppan ælves (What power be as dumb to create elves)!"

Eleshna pulled her horse to a stop. "Did you hear something?..." she turned her head to look in back of them.
The others most likely did not here the slight disturbance which her elven ears had picked up, but a louder disturbance sounded out to their left, in the form of a growl, then sounded again to their right.
"Wolves!" Eleshna exclaimed, "What sorts they may be, I do not know, but the growl most certainly is that of a wolf... correction... several wolves" she mumbled as another sounded from behind.

(You know, Mozart to play when the baby's asleep [or stewing in the uterus] because leading experts say, Mozart makes babies smarter!)
