Raunien nodded mutely, and stepped inside. He hadn't stayed under a unleaky roof for a very long time. Well, the orphanage roof had leaked and so had the few other places he stayed.

"When you have cleaned up, come knock on my door and we'll go find you some proper clothes." she patted him on the shoulder and went into the room next to his.
Once inside, she dropped her satchel on the bed and dug through it for a fresh dress. She tossed her veil onto the small dresser. She wouldn't wear it in town. She braided her hair over her shoulder after washing her face and changing, then sat on the bed and waited.

Raunien ran his fingers through his shoulder-length hair and washed his face and hands. He winced as he shifted his weight to his bad leg and off of it again. Then he went and knocked on Neinna's door.

She led his outside into the market, walking with her shoulders squared and her head up proudly. The tailor's place wasn't far, thank goodness, and they soon reached it.
"I need measurements and several garments for the boy." she spoke as soon as her foot crossed the threshold of the shop. "Money is no option. Make them good."
