Alendariel followed, nodding. "I do not think it crazy. Such things have happened before." she smiled wistfully. "Elesana and Balanthil are the only miracles I have ever known. And now Balanthil is gone." she shook her head. "I apologize, I am to tired to join in the celebrations. Would you like to meet Elesana?" she inquired of Eruraina.

constince looked up as she heard voices aproaching and quickly ducked behind a bush. She didn't want to be found, nor did she wat the frightened looks of the other people following her every move. So she kept quiet and didn't move.

Alendariel paused. She glanced at the movement she had seen near a bush to her left. Jogging silently over, she glanced around the bush until her eyes fell upon Constince. "Constince? Why do you hide, my lady?"

Rain walked over to were Alendriel stood looking at Constance who hid in a bush. She kept quiet, waiting for the girl in the bush to reply. it would be hard to try and hide from elves, who had very good sight and hearing...

Raelyn and Gernhart followed everyone else. Raelyn looked at Gernhart curiosly.

Rain noticed the gathering, just because someone didn't notice. With a sigh, she walked off, listing the things she needed to do that day. Something disturbed her, and now she made it apparent. She went to her quarters and took out her sketch pad which was old and falling appart from years of travel, yet was only halfway full of sketches. She thumbed through them, pausing at a moment at a portrait of Locien, then moved on. In the picture she stopped at, a hooded and cloaked man-like creature sat upon a creature like a dragon. The forest behind them was burning, yet dark. The dragon rider held a sword in the air, like he was about to strike...

((hey yall lady gwen told me i could post for her))

Constances looked at everyone and said nothing. she simply stood up and brushed herself off and walked away from the others.

When Gernhart saw it was Constance he said to Raelyn. " i'll uh be right back.." Gernhart went running to Constance. and slightly touched her arm to get her to slow down. "hey um where you goin?"
Constance jumped back and unsheathed her dager. "oh uh..it's just you.." Constance didn't slow down she just put her dager away kept walking.

Gernhart didn't walk away he kept following Constance until he was by her side. " um i was hoping to get to know you a little better. i uh feel pretty stupid about you reading my thoughts and uh yeah all that" he said remembering the whole ordeal.

"What's there to know?" She asked not looking at him. "I was hired by Lord Elrond to protect his daughter. I have no family of my own. My mother died a few years ago and I hire myself out to put food on the table." She looked at him now, her dark eyes filled with the pain of that loss. "Why my Lord Gernhart?" She asked

he was a bit taken back by this. and plus this was the most he had ever heard her talk. " well....so to honest....why?....well....becuase...uh....i'm not very good at this sort of thing.......i am qwiet fond of you constance." he looked her dead in the eye. " i don't want to know about you. i want to know. who you are. what you like to do. where are you favorite places to go..." he smiled sweetly

Constince didn't have an answer to those questons. She was very fond of him as well, but she was going tobe leaving when the war was over.
"I like ridding horses." She said looking down at her hands as if she were embarassed. I don't reall have a favorite place to go." She looked backup at him and smiled slightly. " you know ... you are the first person that has looked at me in a long time and has actually wanted to see the real me."

Gernhart looked deep into constinces eyes and gently took her hands in his. " i like ridding horses too." he led her to a stone bench. " i'd love to get to know the real you." he smiled greatly " Constince i've never felt this way about anyone in my life." he said still looking deeply and lovingly into her eyes. " so if i say something stupid....thats why...." he chuckled.

She gasped suddenly as the still healing wound in her shoulder twinged and she stood up. "I have to go." she said. She turned and ran from the garden. What was I thinking? she asked herself ash she ran into the palace and up to the room that had been named hers for as long as she chose to stay.I can't have a relationship with him... I can't She slamed the door closed behind her and covered her mouth with her hands to stifle the sobbs that welled up from deep inside her.

Gernhart sat in shock as she ran from him. he now sat there in the gardens alone wondering what happend. he couldn't fugire it out....

*Legolas left Sarien for a moment, found Gernhart and sat next to him.*

"You look very distressed my friend. What troubles your mind?" He asked.
