Galadriel seemed satisfied that Deawen could be taught to control and use her gift for good But to Deawen it was Tameing. " so be it" was all she said to the teaching method.
" maybe two is better than one? If i learn I will Fight..."
Deawen spoke meekly
SHe bowed to the Lord and Lady then turned to Sen and bowed again to him then walked briskly away to the stair case she decended a few flights before stopping. And Elf was trailing after her Deawen waited for her. when the elf was only feet away she spoke " I am Midira I am to take you to your rooms " was all she said before walking past Deawen down more stairs across the lawn to another large tree. Deawen followed with absent mind all she wanted was to sleep no more formalities no more talk of war and Fire. Up more stairs to a story above Morwen's rooms. Deawen was flushed when she reached her room. the Elf took no time she shoved Deawen into the room they were nice and large and well furnished. Midira found Deawen's traveling chest and began to go through it. she picked up a lovely green dress that Deawen had kept for occasions. " this will do I suppose" Midira said " Pardon?" Deawen asked puzzled Midira looked up " for the feast!" Midira exclaimed deawen gaped " well Im not going, I am very busy.." Midira looked shocked " Her majesty's order that a feast be celebrated for our guests" Deawen looked longingly at her bed but Midira won this battle of wits.

pygrus waited for the time when he was to be tested and join the phantoms. pygrus desided to talk to one of the phantoms. " when will deawen be back to test me?" (deawen you said i needed to be tested so when will you test me?)

Morwen walked to what she believed was a small fountain. There was a ewer full of crystal water and a basin. Morwen poured the contents of the ewer and leaned over, ready to wash her face before the coming festivites. Before her hands touched the water, she saw the reflection of a man. She turned sharply, and saw no one. She looked again and watched the unfolding scene: It was a duel- Argo against Sen. She watched the skillful maneouvers and parries. Before anything decisive, a voice spoke to her. It was the Lady. "I see you have found my mirror. It is just as I intended. What did you see?" she walked slowly towards Morwen. "I...I saw a duel," Morwen stuttered. "Ah, yes, between Sen and Argo. You saw the near future. That is a rare thing. But, do not dwell on this. Go to your chamber and prepare for the feast." Morwen bowed and walked (more like fled) back to her chamber, longing for the simplicity of the world of Men.

Deaen was ready to burn this elf to a crisp. in less than a few minutes Deawen's Long copper locks were no longer tied in a simple bow now pinned up with golden pins that dug into her scalp. (in the fashion of Eowyn at Theodreds funeral)

*Galadriel nodded to dismiss Sen, and he bowed and left. Gandalf followed him out, and walked beside him.*
Maleon moves with a purpose now; he has seen your strength, and he sees the strength of those of Middle Earth. He fears you, Sen. He feared your father, and he fears you all the more for your snatching away of his prize. I am sorry for your loss, Sen.
*Sen stopped walking, his fist clenched. His wings at his back rustled slightly in anger.*
He will have cause to fear me, that is for sure. I will make him pay for all the lives lost. All of them.
*Gandalf nodded.*
Do not dwell on the dead, Sen; it only brings grief to the heart, and that is not needed now. Go, get dressed; the feast tonight will get your mind off everything.
*Sen nodded, smiling slightly. He hid his wings as he reached the bottom of the stairs, and set of towards his room. Once there, he found his clothes had been laid out for him; a red velvet tunic, and black leggings. A black tribal pattern wove its way across the tunic, vaguely reminiscent of a phoenix, whose tail split in two and continued in a red pattern down the leggings. Sen couldn't help but chuckle; his home had long been destroyed, yet he found pieces of it wherever he went...*

the tireing ordeal of preparing for a feast is one that Deawen would rather forget and not repeat. she was thankful her dress was one of her own that were comfortable and soft fitting her style and ego. Finaly Midira stepped back to allow Deawen to put on final touches Deawen only Added a studed belt that held her Dragon Dagger. Midira Laughed " You don't need that!" Deawen threw her a glance that said " yes I do Bug off" Deawen decended the stairs in a fleeting way she wanted to check on Bredol, Aernel Followed happy to roam. At the Stables the elves placed Bredol in the last stall a few elves gathered as if to admire her horse but when Deawen appraoched she saw what the commotion was about. Bredol had begun to chew his way to the latch. Deawen started to laugh and the elves turned to see who was laughing. when they saw who it was they turned to leave and begun to whisper. Deawen giggled at Bredol as he stretched his neck to greet Deawen. " hello sweety " Deawen whispered he nickered in reply "I see you have kept your self busy " she smiled and Bredol tossed his head around and reached for the latch but his neck could not reach it. "hey now be good, it's just for a few days and we will be free.."

Morwen changed into the green dress given to her by Deawen. She added on a gold belt, one of her greenstone rings, and an intricate gold necklace. An elf came in to assist with her hair (she never really did anything with it). It ended up pulled back to the nape of her neck, then split into a net of tiny braids to hold in the rest of her hair. By the time the elf maiden was finished, Morwen had tears running down her face. The elf asked, "What is the matter?" "Well," answered Morwen, "unlike elves, I have a fairly low pain tolerance." The elf walked away, slightly embarassed, as Morwen dried her eyes and made her way to the banquet hall.
When she got to the platform, she was the first of her companions there, that she saw. A handsome elf man (OOC: is that redundant?) offered her a silver goblet of some sort of cordial. She was only too happy to oblige. The first sip was very strong, so she sat down on a long bench to wait.

Deawen went out of the stables and began to head for the Hall where the feast was likely to be held. shortly she spotted Morwen sitting on a bench. she plopped next to Morwen. " whats that?" Deawen asked indicating the goblet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The phantoms had camped under the trees the dense foliage was perfect cover for their small numbers. Drad figured Deawen would want the 'tag-alongs' to be ready to fight if need be.
So Drad had Eston send out a notice to the phantoms it commanded all tag-alongs to asemble for training.
Eston estimated that there was thirty in all so thirty five horses were selected to serve as the tag-alongs mounts.
in a clearing outside the trees a dirt ring was made a few targets constructed. as Drad was heading to the ring he passed Raelun " Join us for some training?" Drad asked. Drad was cheery that morning training tag-alongs was his favorite pass-time. Eston however was sulky he didn't like the whole affair. all together there was five courses to train in one day maybe two if Deawen didn't return.Drad trained Horsemanship, and fighting with resources.( anything you can get ahold of) Eston Taught swordfighting and a form of weaponless fighting, then there was rules taught by both.
Morwen smiled and said, "I donno, bu't's ærgod! (excellent)" She took another sip and noticed that there was a shorter elf-man that kept trying to nonchalantly examine them both. "What's got his reins in a twist?" she asked, pointing him out with her cup.
Deaen laughed at morwen " can't understand how you can drink that stuff. " Deawen followed Morwen's cup " I hate it here...no matter where you go someone is always watching. " Deawen studied the Elf carefuly she didn't feel a threat he seemed to be curiuos. Deawen smiled sweetly to the Elf and nodded her head in a formal greeting. The elf turned away as if embarressed. Deawen tried to surpress a laugh.
Morwen answered pertly, "How can I drink this, you ask? I've lived all my life in ROHAN! You know the sorts of things we drink there. Plus, I've lived with male soldiers for the past 7 years, 3 of which I've been captain. You don't get to the top by not being able to drink copiously when the time calls for it!" She took another sip and followed Deawen's gaze. "I wish he would just come over and talk to us, not collyswaddle about over there."
Deawen Frowned " Morwen of the westfolde i have lived in Rohan just as you. and i know for truth you can still get to the top without drinking." Deawen laughed as a memory came to her " remember when we were handmaidens and you smuggled some wine from the royal table?" Deawen asked a devils grin masking her face." let him be morwen quite honestly he is fine it's not everyday two humans from rohan enter these woods especialy one who is fluttery with drink!" Deawen sighed.
"Not in the Rohirric Cavalry, you can't! You remember Gamling at the harvest feast! But you're right," she said, growing a bit more serious. "I'm sure we'll get plenty more strange looks before the night is over."
"ah yes I remember... it's a strange barbaric way of rising up in ranks." Deawen laughed, the elf that had been watching them had moved from his postion far away and was now close by almost in conversation distance. But Deawen didn't seem to notice she went right along smiling and laughing with morwen. Deawen felt bare without a cloak on she couldn't reach for her dagger without being noticed. Deawen didn't feel she was going to need the dagger but the ELf was too curious for her liking.
"even more stares tommorow... " Deawen said in a whisper thinking of the day to come.
*Sen finally found his way to the celebration, and searched for the others. Some elves stopped him on the way, and after a brief chat with them, he continued on, eventually spotting them near the tables. He had nearly reached them, when a playful hit on the shoulder alerted him to the presence of Aeldrahil, his cousin.*
So, you have finally decided to join us, eh, Sen? How about a drink to get you ready for dancing with those lovely ladies over there?
*Sen was about to protest, when Aeldrahil continued.*
Don't spoil the fun, of course I would give you apple cider. Methinks that elven wine is to strong for you to stomach anyway.
*With a bell-like laugh, he handed a goblet full to the brim with apple cider over to Sen, and bowed in jest, making his way back to the others he was speaking to earlier, though not without one final quip.*
You'll have to introduce me to them, Sen.
*Sen laughed slightly, as he joined Morwen and Deawen.*
My cousin gets quite... friendly at feasts. It is he who cannot stomach elven wine, I think.
