Frodo was happy, but not surprised, that Merry and Pippin had listened in also and that they also decided to join. He grinned as Merry and Pippin ran down beside him.

"Besides, you need people of intelegance on this mission. Quest. Thing," he said, crossing his arms.

(I knew this would be the hardest scene to figure out... what I say is that we are not yet part of the Fellowship. We have been summoned to watch over the task and make sure the ring is destroyed... so my next post should better explain.)

"Well that counts you out, Pip," Merry joked back to Pippin's ear.

Elrond sighed and announced the formation of the fellowship.

"Well, if that is all there is, my work here is done," Abagail told Elrond, hit both of her hands on the arms of her chair and proceeded to stand.

"No, it is not. I summoned you here to make sure the task is completed. Is the ring destroy, Abagail?"

"No..."

"Than, you're task in not complete."

Frustrated, Abagail sat back down in the chair and waited for Elrond to continue. "To the ones not from our world, I will further explain your task. You are to follow the ones I am assigning to you, and aid to making sure that their task in the Fellowship goes as required."

"But..." Abagail spoke.

"Silence!" Elrond directed over at Abagail, annoyed at her constant pestering, "I will assign them to you individually, and, since you are eager to go.. I will assign you first, Abagail."

"Thank you..." Abagail began to say but was cut off by Elrond.

"You are to watch over Frodo and Sam."

"The little people? Why can't I watch over showoff or macho man?"

Elrond knew his judgement was finished, but proceeded to explain his reasoning. "I have chosen you all to watch over an individual based on characteristics. To demonstrate, Abagail, you will watch over Frodo and Sam because you are able to think out of common terms to keep the ringbearer and his friend safe from harm."

"But.."

"No buts. Who would like to be assigned next?"

Merry whisphered over to Frodo, "Why are people getting assigned to us?"

"Mark, you get Aragorn," Elrond said and turned to Abagail to get her to be quiet once again from her consistent uhing.

Aaron grinned in happiness. He got Gandalf... maybe he could learn a few things from the wizard, and get into a deep descusion about Middle-Earth.

Louy leaned over towards Scott.
"I hope we each get people that don't get split apart so we wouldn't have to part," she said, blushing only slightly, before clearing het throught and standing up.
"What about me?"

"You may watch over Merry and Pippin, or, in other word, the little ones as Abagail enjoys referring to them as," Elrond told Louisa and took a glance over at Abagail who continued to sit in the chair inwardly whining about how she was stuck with the two little hobbits.

Frodo smiled up at Abagail when Elrond said she would watch over him. He liked her, even if she didn't know his name. She was funny. Then, he turned to Merry and shrugged, whispering back, "I haven't the slightest idea, Merry."

Scott blushed also at Louy remark, but grinned and nodded. "I agree." He said and after Catilin rose and was assigned Legolas, Scott stood and asked, "And me, my Lord?"

Aragorn looked over at Mark, who was assigned to him. He gave him a deep hearted smile before he turned to look back at Lord Elrond.

Elrond looked down at Scott, "You are assigned to the last two, Boromir and Gimli."

"Oh... ego maniac.. have fun Scott," Abagail whisphered to herself in her seat.

"And, with this, I call this coucil to an end. Tommrrow you will leave. In the menatime, relax, and the new-comers will need a change of clothes to better fit."

Scott bowed his head to Lord Elrond and said, "As you wish it." Then, he sat once again. He didn't mind who he was looking after. Boromir was one of his favorite charactors. But Gimli...he was never terrible fond of dwarves, but maybe he could learn something from them.

Caitlin almost smirked at Elrond's use of the nickname for the elven prince, bowing before Lord Elrond right before she took her seat just before Scott rose. Yes, Abagail is contagious. she thought to herself.

Great! A change of clothes! she thought at Elrond's announcement. I sure hope they have spare weapons too as I seemed to have left mine back on Earth.
