Eldarion looked over at Alythrya,

"Tell anyone what?" He smiled, and let her know nothing was wrong. Looking around, his eyes involentarily wandered back to the young woman sitting beside him. She was very pretty in the moonlight, he thought.

"You know, you are very beautiful, Alythrya." He siad, forgetting himself.

Alythrya smiled as he blushed. "You are very handsome yourself, in case you haven't noticed, Eldarion." She said, not being able to stop herself.

"Well, one, A man can not possibly be more attractive than a woman, from either point of view, and two... Well, really there is no two." He said all this lamely, looking into her eyes. "But really... I am surprised you do not have would-be courters at your feet. Has anyone ever asked to court you Alythrya?" The last question was held with some almost unidentifiable dread.

Alythrya blushed and looked down. She looked back up into his eyes and said, "I've never been courted, Eldarion."

Eldarion sighed in relief inwardly. Well, at least that was- Wait, what in the name of the valar was he thinking?! He smothered his rather odd thoughts and came back to reality.

"That surprises me.... I don't suppose you have your eye on anyone, do you?" He cocked an eyebrow as he asked the irrisistable question, agaist what his brain told him.

Eldarion looked at her, shocked. What?! Oh by the stars I hope this isn't a dream... he let his one hundred mile an hour thoughts race. But all he could see were the eyes of the girl - no, young lady infront of him.

"Y-You mean... You can't mean that..." He whispered, unable to hold a grin from his lips.

At these small words, Eldarion beamed. He leaned forward and hugged Alythrya, likely getting her even wetter than she was before as his soaking wet hair dripped all over her as he tightened his grip.

Alythrya hugged him back and never wanted to let go of him. Her heart beat faster than ever before. She finally let go and said, "So, are you courting me, Eldarion?"

"Yes, well, I whole heartedly agree... But, I'm the prince. If I rebel against my parent's will... Well, It looks... Bad. But honestly, I don't think they'll disaprove of it... But what about your parents?"

"Hello my treasure," she said to a bright chestnut mare with a star on it's forhead, and four white socks. The big battle-horse nickered in greeting, and sniffed Eonera's pockets. The maiden luaphed, and brought out an apple.
