*Sen bowed as he took her hands, and the music began to play a different song. This was a song that brought back memories, as they began to dance, the song took a new life, partially from the magic of the elvish voices, and partially, Sen could feel, from Galadriel herself. Their surroundings changed, so the whole dance floor was in a great domed room, with a painting of a dragon, phoenix, and winged horse covering the dome. The white marble columns looked over a great forest, and snow could be seen on the ground, far below. Stars twinkled in the sky, out of place from where they were. As the song played, a tear formed on the corner of Sen's eyes. This was home.*
(At the training grounds)
*Raelun first told them to dismount; when he was questioned by the other trainee as to why, he replied simply.*
Firstly, because I ordered you to. Secondly, because you must first learn to fight with your feet on the ground before you can learn to fight with your feet off it. Now, we will do a bit of sparring, us three, so I may judge just how much I need to train you.
*Raelun set aside his great sword, and instead took up a staff, and gripped it securely in his hands.*
Now, you two, come at me!

( I can fight..My cousin Roran and I we've trained)
Deawen loved Dancing but never had the time to dance. But she had never danced to this tune before so it was hard to go with. It felt fimilar yet as distant and strange as to a fish out of water. But when their surroundings changed before her eyes she was entranced thinking it was the wine she had consumed playing with her mind, Though she didn't stop to question. she could feel Sen's emotions course through her. " don't linger in the past..." Deawen whispered in his mind her voice was like a breeze in the pine trees. " you are not the only one that has lost their home" she added softly. Deawen guessed this was Sen's home she felt a connection with the structures They were like the Bridge that Linked Her to him as the medallion she wore.

*Sen nodded slightly, as he looked around at the illusion of the dance grounds. It had been his home, once upon a time. Yet it was gone now, and the one they would soon be going to stop was the cause of its destruction. Yet now was not the time to reflect on that; he brought himself back to the present, and the wonderful dance with lady Deawen.*

Deawen smiled as she felt Sen's emotions relax and withdrawl back into himself. As the song ended so did the Illusion bringing back the woods of Lothlorien. Deawen curtsied as custom demanded but the room was still spinning, but she did not waver or look distressed.
Suddenly the colors of the elves gowns and robes became horridly bright and gaudy. Deawen sighed before looking back up at Sen " Thank you" she said simply, she curstied again and walked away from the crowd to open space.

"And you actually eat that?" Parmatur said incredulously. "Yes! Who cares what's in it, as long as it tastes good!" Morwen said, aghast at this elf's pickiness. Parmature countered back, "I can understand why people in the deserts of Harad eat insects. I can understand how some cave-dwelling pirates gorge on rats and lizards. I can understand why you eat fermented fruit perserves. But intestines stuffed with salted meat and moldy cheese? You are practically sinking to the dwarvish diet!" Morwen persisted, "No, you make it sound so awful! We have to find some way to make food go further in the winter! It really is quite a delicacy." Parmatur scrunched his smoothe face until a wrinkle almost showed: "Fine, whatever you say!"

(morwen you are making even me wrinkle my nose.)
Drad had the new trainies galloping in circles even the horses smooth gait could not keep many of the riders in their seats. But Drad Noticed something odd about one tag-along. This one was smaller and much thinner than all the rest. he looked young alittle too young for phantom standards, but Drad figured this lad signed up ready or not. he kept his eye on this fellow he seemed fimilar in a way " you there" Drad called to the tag-along the tag along ran up to him with a slight hesitation " whats your name boy?" Drad asked the boy heisitated alittle " rolan sir" Drad snorted in satisfaction " where ye from lad?" " Dale sir" " I see" Drad nodded " your alittle small for the phantoms..." Drad pointed out but the lad didn't seem fased " My father was a soldier I have been taught alittle"

(If you guys want, check under the Fanfiction and Poetry section; look for Enarion and the casting of the stars. Its a little something I wrote.)
*Sen wondered at Deawen's quick withdrawl, and followed her, away from the dance area. Morwen was still happily entertaining herself with a rather inquisitive elf, so he could leave her be. He caught up to Deawen, and called out to her.*
Lady Deawen, what troubles you that you leave the dance? Is there something wrong?

Morwen cocked her head and asked, "You're different than the other elves." Parmatur was caught a bit offguard: "I'm not sure how to respond to that." Morwen smiled. "In this case, it is good. The others seem so far-removed and...cold. Why aren't you?" Parmatur looked ahead and said, "Because I am talking to you know-" Morwen tried to interject "-No, don't interupt. Not you, persay, but I have talked to so many of the Race of Men that I have adopted some of their demeanors. My belief that the culture of Men needs to be recorded is also fairly unpopular among many here. If it weren't for Lady Galadriel's patronage, I wouldn't be able to show my face, here or in Mirkwood." This silenced Morwen for awhile. They sat in contimplative silence and listened to the uneartly music of the elves.
(OOC: When should the actual banquet start?)

Argh! I forgot about that....stupid protacol.....I defy reality...whenever I suppose I don't think Deawen will be joining...picky eater and a tad bit tipsy don't mix well...)
Deawen stopped and stood still for a moment then turned like a startled deer or quarry. " My Lord You startled me" she laughed slightly
" Oh nothing is wrong...I am just alittle dizzy from the.. drink and ...uhh...spinning yes the spinning" Deawen frowned in concentration she wasn't telling a lie she told the truth just not the whole truth "oh whats the use? Hiding anything from you is like trying to keep the rains away..." Deawen sat down heavily on a nearby bench knowing Sen would never let her leave without her telling him what was the matter. " I Can't take being so near my enemy..." she looked down into her lap as her fingers absent mindedly formed tiny spheres of flame.

*Sen sat down beside her, and sighed himself. He spoke softly, as he looked up at the night sky.*
The moon is beautiful tonight, Deawen.
*This statement was strange; dark clouds covered the moon, so that only a pale sphere of light could be seen through them.*
Its light shines even through the stormclouds gathering. Let Deawen, you must not let these things trouble your mind. Do you remember, back in the city in the sands, where Maleon was in the same building as us? Though I paid him no heed, for us to escape. Just as Argo is under the very eaves of this forest, you must not let his presence get to you. We will confront him when it is time, no sooner, no later. Fretting about it does not help. That is my first lesson, Deawen, so heed it well.
*Sen smiled slightly, as he turned to face her, looking to see how she accepted it.*

his words brought little comfort but she nodded and placed her hands against her dress " Im not afraid of dying My lord Sen that is not why i will not fight against Maleon it's just I do not want to see my men die for a cause they know little about. " Deawen stated softly " Nor would i want to see you die or be harmed " she added under her breath she looked up meeting his gaze a thought came to her she blushed and turned away, shoving the thought into a steel box.

*Sen nodded, seeing a flash of... something in her eyes, until it was hidden from him, as he stood up again, looking off into the distance.*
Sometimes I wonder, Deawen, what it would be like without this incessant war. What we would be like without the war. I worry that I would not know what to do in times of peace; I have known nothing but fighting for too long, for far too long. What do you think, Deawen? Do you think that for me, peace is just a fleeting dream?

Deawen wasn't quick to answer she sat thinking.Deawen answered meeting his gaze, " you and I are of a diffirent sort natural leaders and always ready for war no matter how much it's taxes us but we are not warmoungering.." as she spoke she wondered why Sen was worried about peace. " without war Middle earth would be divided further hatred for broken alliances causeing skirmishes...you see there is no such thing as peace there is always something or someone that is unhappy" she paused standing up " are you afraid of peace? being restless and feeling lost with no cause? or is your heart torn in two?" Deawen asked her gaze wasn't mean or forceful but it was stern she was trying to fathom why he was worried about peace. Peace had never occured to Deawen as an event she thought it came from within the person.

*Sen looked at her, and shook his head, sighing before he continued.*
What I fear... What I fear is that all my efforts will have been in vain. All the Storm that have given their lives will have been for naught, and when the last breath leaves me, that I will still see a Middle Earth torn by war against an evil that has no end. I wish that you, too, could know peace, and that this struggle does not consume you too, Deawen. For your wellbeing I feel is more precious than my own; you are needed, Deawen, by many more than you may think.
