Eleshna smirked slightly at Jaden's method of calming the horse.

Grasping a handful of mane, she swung up onto the horse. She whispered in elvish, further calming the horse as well as encouraging strength.

Nodding to Jarden, Eleshna urged the horse into a calm trot, sparing the mare's energy and letting her nerves calm naturally.

Jaden followed as Eleshna lead the way. He himself was probably not as good as finding his way as she was.

They traveled on into the unknown lands as the night sky fell upon the earth.

"Would you like to stop for the night, or keep riding? I personaly don't care." Jaden said riding up beside Eleshna.

Eleshna pulled her horse to a stop, "your horse seems more used to heavy travel, but this mare seems well worn. We shall continue, but at a slower pace, and I on foot, to spare the mare's energy."

Dismounting, Eleshna took the reigns and began walking again, leading the mare. "I would prefer to arrive in the daylight, and I am hoping it will not take us longer than this night, the next day, then a night's rest and morning's travel to arrive there..."

Jaden slowed Syndar to an acceptable pace and then dismounted as well.

"If you would like feel free to ride Syndar. I am used to walking. And after all, you have risked your life for my sake, it is the least I can do." Jaden said as he dismounted.

Jaden listened to Eleshna and agreed with her plann, it owuld be wise to arive in daylight.

Eleshna shook her head and chuckled quietly, speaking as she walked, a hand resting on the hilt of the sword Ketra had given her, "no, I am fine walking, and I risk my life for myself as well as you, so there is no need to attempt to return the deed in any form... I have lived on the edge my whole life and now is no different."

The two walked onward through the night. Before Jaden knew he found himself walking allong as the morning sun rose on the horizen.

Eleshna smiled slightly and nodded to his words, but remained silent, looking forward in the darkness, hood well drawn over her face.

"Alae, i anor hilol," Eleshna greeted the morning in a whisper of elvish. Glancing around, she picked up the pace to a quick walk.

As they continued the day waisted away and they grew ever closer to the valy. It would not be long before they reached there destination.

"I believe we have made good headway," Eleshna mentioned as she pointed out a tall peak ahead, though somewhat shadowed due to the already setting sun.

"If we rest nearly all tonight, we should be entering the valley after a few hours of early morning travel, then arrive on the other side some time before noon" she stated as she pushed her hood back and turned her face to the wind, which had picked up conciderably during the day.

Eleshna took a deep breath then shielded her eyes against the setting sun to observe the slight gathering of clouds, "A storm aproaches. I'm afraid it will arrive at midnight... strange...it seems to have come about rather suddenly."

"Alright. This looks like a good as spot as any." Jaden commented.

Watching the clouds as Eleshna spoke Jaden thought of the horses. "Perhaps we could find shelter somwhere. Your horse will need to be secured well to be sure she does not run off." Jade replied to her words.

Eleshna replied with a nod, "yes, that would be wise..." Taking the saddle and bridle off the mare, she took a piece of elven rope and made a strong but comfortable halter and hold rope for the horse, then tied it to a tree securely.

Eleshna sat in a crosslegged fasion and placed the sword on her knees as she watched the last bit of light fade.

Jaden got ready for a good nights rest, so it seemed. As he leaned against
Syndar who had layed down ( i know horses don't usualy lay donw but this one does) He too watched the light of day fade away.

He watched Eleshna to know when she fell asleep, afterwards spending most of the night on guard.

"If it comes after us it will be at night." Jaden told himself.

Eleshna awoke in the middle of the night, unaware that she had fallen asleep sitting against a tree. She glanced over at Jaden and noticed he was still on watch.

"Would you like me to take over watch for a while while you rest?" she offered as she got to her feet and stretched breifly before sitting down again.

"You never know what we might encounter tomorrow, and one must always be alert , able, and well rested..."

Jaden smiled as he spoke.

"True. My training however has inabled me to not sleep for a few days before needing it. Still I thank you for your offer, I could use some sleep. I will be waking in not more than four hourse anyway." Jaden said.
