"Mae govannen." Elenriel said softly to Eruraina's retreating form. "I am sorry, my lady." she added as she watched the melancholy woman mount her horse, not sure if the other heard her. She then turned toward Anira and nodded absently. "The last I heard he was among the company. But truth travels slowly while evil intent spreads rampantly. There are many rumors floating about the fate of Helms Deep and the warriors who fought there." she said quietly. Shaking her head, she managed another smile, trying to hide her worry not only for the Prince but other friends who were said to have fought there. "Might I have your name, my lady?" she inquired. "I do not believe we have met before."

Elenriel breathed a sigh of relief at the news Turwaithiel delivered. "Thank the Valar." she breathed in a whisper, glad to hear that Legolas was well. She then turned toward Anira. "A pleasure to meet you." she replied, with a inclination of her head. At that moment she glanced back toward Eruraina and her smile faded. Her heart ached for the shieldmaiden that waited on her mount. "We should aid the warriors as soon as possible." she whispered to the group. "Every second lost could lead to another to another lost warrior."
(Are we following the movie Helms Deep battle or the book?)
