Rebecca sat on a stump and groaned. She could not fathom how she had gotten from her new apartment to these woods. Even the fact that she had been given a cool set of bow and arrows and a sword did not make up for her annoyance.

Caitlin stood silently with the group, clad now in the elven attire she had chosen. With a bow and a quiver of arrows strapped to her back along with twin daggers (the closest weapons she could find to her sai), and a couple of throwing daggers-one hidden in each boot, she felt she had done all she could to physically prepare herself for the combat that she knew was bound to occur. With a sigh, she stared straight ahead, lost in thought. Caitlin had mixed feelings about the journey they were about to embark on. Yes, skirmishes were of nothing new to her as she had become quite proficient in combat tactics from her training in martial arts-but to be part of this- a chance to help rescue a world she believed only exited in fantasy was surreal. To have the opportunity to walk among such heroes was simply a dream. There was so much she wanted to ask them-so much she wanted to learn from them. Yet at the same time, her enthusiasm was marred by the knowledge of what they were to face. She knew that the path they now trod would be one faced with many perils and that it would take everything she knew (and possibly more) to just keep her alive.

Sighing, Abagail collected herself together, stood up, and pridely strolled over to the wizard-man. She did not have to ask or say anything, for Gandalf, Aragorn, and a few others whom Abagail did not entirely notice where already talking about the fact they were all going to leave in less than an hour and what they all were going to have to do on the trip.

"About thirty minutes," Abagail muttered to herself, under her breath and hardly moving her mouth as she turned around to go and find someone whom she could annoy for a change.

Alright, I will post again...

Abagail became sufficiently irritated with the lack of entertainment. Her high-maitenance lifestyle would always have her moving at every hour, minute, and second of the day. However in Rivendell, unlike other elven tales, all one could do was stare ignorantly at the pretty scenery and stand magnifyed that you are in a fantasy world.

This, in mention, was cool for Abagail for quite some time actually. She was able to remind intrigued for longer than any of her other "world expedictions". Although, another note that should be added, an example being the trip to the Amazon. She loved the.... everything, until a snake decided that Abagail was just another big rat. She never went to the Amazon again, and, more than likely, never will.

Rivendell was different. Abagail thoroughly enjoyed the debate on whether or not the ultimate question of whether or not they should destroy the ring or harnness the power for themselves. To be honest, the best part of this whole trip to Rivendell was that Abagail had read this chapter before in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the only chapter she has read. So, in essence, everytime a character would do something that they were "supposed" to do, Abagail would have a blast poking fun and trying to dramatically change the storyline (not that she would ever truely know of course because she has not physically read the books).

Waiting over to Caitlin, Abagail hinted Caitlin at her presence and asked, "So..... you think we will be leaving anytime soon?"

Lea lay on her front, picking lazily at a blade of rich green grass. She glanced at the other summoned females, wondering how they felt about this dilemma. She personally did not feel very perturbed at all; she was more than accustomed to being dropped into random spots in the middle of nowhere to learn the ways of survival. She gave a heavy sigh of annoyance, eager to set out straightaway. The planning time had taken longer than she had even imagined, and it had been boring. Luckily she, being a native girl, was wearing her weapons and holding a spear when she had miraculously appeared in Middle-earth. She wondered if these magical beings would be even remotely affected by her weapons. Perhaps she ought to trade them in for new ones. She hauled herself upright and walked lazily to the armoury. She expected to find weapons similar to hers, but more fit for this world. She examined a rack of spears and exchanged her own for a golden one of a similar weight and length. She then exchanged her dagger and bow in a similar fashion, along with her arrows (she took new ones actually, but kept her old ones for personal reasons, instead of exchanging them).
She came back out no more than two minutes later and rejoined the group, feeling only slightly awkward around all the other summoned people.

Aleks, still confused, looked around her. Right next to her was sitting a blondish man (scott). "ehi" she said "do you know when we are going to leave? I'm Aleks by the way.."

Caitlin smiled at Abagail, recognizing the movie star instantly. "So you are the famed Abagail, am I right?" she asked, showing more excitement than even she had anticipated. "And as to your question," she added. "I have no idea, although I hope it is soon. I can't imagine that a longer delay will have any benefits."
