(Thank you, thank you )
"If they are the same that I encountered last night, I would go as far to say we have a fair chance concidering our number," Tahlavain spoke as she glanced back at the other two.
"Before we get into anything I should at least introduce myself." She took the time to talk as she strung her bow. "My name is Tahlavain Aeronna, of Rivendell, though I was not born there..."
She stopped as she saw three riders on dark colored horses galloping down the road towards them, one wielding a bow and the other two with large heavy swords drawn. Tahlavain pulled the wounded man off to the side to the back of their group then went and stood beside Darrell, an arrow nocked on her string. "There is one more there than lastnight," she commented briefly.

*Sen turned as the rider gave his message, and stared down the road, drawing in turn with Darrell a deep crimson longbow, and drew a same-colored arrow. Both were nearly the color of blood, yet with a woody grain to it...*
As for me, I will stay and see what shadow there is. Yet that man should be taken to safety, in hiding on the side of the road.

(Tahlavain was a step ahead of you ^^ she moved the guy. lol)
Tahlavain nodded her agreement. "But I like others to know who they fight with, least something happen that later I would not be able to tell where I belong..." As the rider's drew closer, they pulled to a stop, and the one with a bow nocked an arrow and drew the string.
Tahlavain pulled her bow back and fired it upon the rider. At this, with beyond normal and excellent marksmanship, the cloaked rider fired his bow as well, hitting her arrow as it came towards him. Both arrows spilt in mid air and fell to the ground.
She froze in near disbelief but reacted quickly by nocking another arrow, but the rider was a step ahead of her as his arrow flew towards her. She ducked just in time to avoid its aim. The rider fired similiar aims towards the other two.

Darrell saw the arrow coming and swiftly side-stepped out of its path. He leased his arrow at the archer and quickly replaced it with another on the string.

The archer swiftly ducked to the side, at the same time nocking another arrow. He released it as he sat back up, his particular aim not clear, but the arrow went between Darrell and Tahlavain, grazing Tahlavain's arm. The other two riders at this time had taken the oppertunity to veer off to the sides and were now coming in at either side of the group, with swords drawn.
The archer put his bow away and unsheathed his blade, urging his horse to a gallop, charging the three combatants.
Tahlavain unsheathed Corasar, the blade of which had a blue hue to it and the blue gems set within the blade sparkled, not a speck of blood in any crevise.
As the two at either side challenged Darrell and Sen, Tahlavain took on the archer, blocking a heavy blow as the rider used his horses speed and height to his advantage.

The two riders towards the sides charged Sen and Darrell, their sword low in attempt to make a strike at their necks. They passed through, scattering the group, then turned, reversing and attempting another strike.
The archer rider was laying heavy blows directed to Tahlavain, but she held her own, her eyes a blaze with a fighting spirit.
With a low menacing growl, the archer rider managed to get in a blow on Tahlavain's shoulder, and mysteriously, almost in unison, the other two managed similiar strikes on Sen and Darrell.
Tahlavain stumbled back at the force of the blow, but quickly gained her footing and struck at the rider's horse.
(Forgive me for being cruel to the creature, but they are evil steeds, so don't worry ^^ hahaha )
"Strike towards the horses!" She called to the others. The archer's steed reared and began the shy away as Tahlavain directed her blade to its face and shoulder. She kicked the horse's shoulder and it reared, throwing its rider off balance.
Now the fighting grounds were even, as the archer lost his steed, but still he sustained no wounds.

Darrell saw the shadow (is there anything special I should call them?) circling in towards him. He shouldered his bow and drew his sword Chrysamere and watched him, awaiting the strike which he knew would come.
Suddenly the shadow leapt forwards his sword held low, aiming for Darrell's stomach. Darrell sidestepped the charge, bringing his sword down hard on the shadows sword near the hilt. He turned and folowed the shadows movements blocking the slashed follow through.

"Who are you?" Tahlavain question the cloaked man before her as she blocked his blow. The shadow answered in a dark and deep voice, "In your langauge, elf, I am known as a Maiean... otherwise known as a Death Rider. Fear me and run and your life is spared." "I fear nothing," she replied and barely ducked a swing to her head in time.
The other Maiean angled a cut towards the crown of Darrell's head, while the Death Rider was still mounted upon his horse. Again Tahlavain shouted, "Strike their horses! Bring them to your level!"

(cool name Silm )
Darrell swung his sword upwards and parried the blow the maiean aimed at him. He heard Tahlavains' shout and before it could ride off he plunged his sword into the horses flank bringing it down

(Thanks .... o_o wow... you're nastier to the horse than I was lol. Oooh, I'm in love with battle scenes! lol)
The archer Maiean brought a heavy blow crashing against Tahlavain's upheld sword, sending her stumbling backwards and landing on the ground. She rolled out of the way with barely enough time as the Death Rider slashed his blade towards her side. She winced as she felt the steel graze her lower back as she rolled.
The Maiean by Darrell quickly got to his feet and planted a hard blow on Darrell's sword, then pulled back, swinging his sword towards him in a horizontal arch.
Tahlavain rolled and found herself quite near the Maiean archer's feet, though she had no clue how he had gotten there so swiftly. She made a slice into his left leg, causing him to trip backwards as she got to her feet and followed it with driving Corasar through the Maiean's shoulder. The Death Rider gave a cry of pain and called in a strange and unknown langauge. Tahlavain pulled her sword out with a twist, and the blade was covered in a dark, nearly black blood. She gave a small yelp as it burned her when it slipped down to her hilt. Wiping it off on her cloak, she kicked the Maiean, but he was swift to recover and thrust his blade towards her shoulder. She turned, but not in time, and took in a sharp breath as the blade made contact with her shoulder. Seeing he was losing blood and that the other two were faring better than he, the Maiean gave a mock salute with his sword. "We'll meet again, Tahlavain, sword keeper." With that, the Dark Rider retrieved his horse and rode off. Tahlavain looked to the others, but didn't interfere.

Darrell flicked his sword upwards, turning the maieans blade away from him he stabbed down into the maieans body. But the maiean was too fast, the stab was battered away leaving Darrell wide open to attack. The maiean stabbed straight towards Darrells heart. Darrell turned sharply but was unable to avoid the stab entirely, and the blade pierced his shoulder.

Tahlavain stood in near shock at the almost exact precice movements the second Maiean used, much alike the one who just left. Quickly, using her sword with her good arm, she jumped into the attack from behind, slicing low, disabling the Maiean's legs, then delved her blade in his back, between his shoulders.
She shuddered and pulled back, feeling a chill run through her blade. The blade itself shivered and gave off a faint glow as she pulled it out of the Death Rider with a twist. Expecting the blade to be covered with the dark blood, she was surprised to see the blueish blade was clean, as though someone had sat down and maticulously polished it.

Tahlavain kicked the Maiean forward and watched the near black blood gather in a pool on the ground.
