Aren went traveling through the area, looking for any sign of those hiding. He was an elf which ment he could find them better... but they were elves which ment they could hide better.
Arenn looked back at the new arrival who had joined in. "So what's your name? I'm Aren." he introduced himself.

Aren went looking for his sister Ainawen first because he knew how she thought better than the others. Then after finding her she could help look for the others.
"So what brings you to Rivendell?" Aren asked Ran.

"Live here for the most part. I like to travel when I can though." he said looking in another spot for his sister, but with no luck.
Looking through the area he noticed something in the distance. he wasn't sure what it was. Immediately he hid, thinking it might be one of the others. But as it came in view he realized it was something a whole lot more sirous than that....

As the men grew closer Aren got an increasingly bad feeling about them. They were clothed in black and carrried swords of strange forging that he had not seen before. (not Ringwraith)

Rhan nocked an arrow at an alarming pace and aimed it with a steady hand. Her whole body seemed to be drawn as taught as her bowstring- poised for battle. In her eyes a strange fire shone, daring the men to come closer.

Aren pulled his sword out slowly, only taking his eyes off the men to look over to Ran to be awar of her actions. "Don't supose you know what they are?" he asked her softly. He still was not sure if they knew they were there or not.
