"I suppose we just have to hope we'll meet someone on the way...", she mumbled but then a flash gleamed in her right eye, "Maybe we could use a symbol so they'd tell that we are members of A-U?".
She rapidly picked up an abandoned staff and ripped her left, grey satin sleeve off and tying it on the top of the staff like a flag. She then grabbed a pocket knife from her jean pocket and carefully cut her shoulder. As it began to bleed, she started to write some words on the flag-positioned ripped sleeve with her own blood, barely wincing. As she finished, she showed Lhun the flag which read:

'Good idea Nocturne! But I hope your shoulder isn't hurting too much, now it is bleeding.. I think it will heal soon' Lhun said. She really thought the banner was a good idea. 'I hope we will meet other A-U people out here.. It is a long way from Bree to Rivendell, and it would be good to have some more company..'

"NO!"
Curunir said with a laugh.
"just help me get these back to Faz, Luthien and Larael okay? Then we can all travel together..."

"I think we should get horses... I'm sure we'll be able to borrorw some...", Nocturne assured Lhun - trying to think back to the book.

' Horses.. yeah that would be good. I think we need some food also, and waterbottles ofcourse. And I also need different clothes.. these are a little too prominent in Middle-Earth. I have some things here I can trade, a ring, and a chain.. Maybe we can buy something with it..' Lhunardaien said, thinking of the things she could trade for her new outfit.

Melda looked enviously at Elegost. "You lucky duck - all I got was 'See you in Rivendell' from a wizard! Though I suppose as I'm not much use with a weapon it doesn't make a huge difference." She laughed, and then looked a little worried. "You don't think I'll need to fight between here and Rivendell? I've never even held a weapon, much less used one."

OCC: Elegost, I'd probably wouldn't but my shoulders always seem to sting and when I injure them, I usually don't feel much more pain.
"My top is fine, it's pretty much Middle-Earthen style - though I do need a skirt to replace my jeans...", she rambled, "I'd could trade my pocket knife for a few things as well - I'm sure someone will be intersted in that little gizmo. "
"And about those horses...", Nocturne muttered as she went towards the bartender.
"Hey, how much for the horses - I heard that you lend them out... or are they ponies which you lend out..."

Gwenneth's eyes widened as Elegost showed them his weapons.
"I never even thought of that..." she said, looking a bit dismayed. "You really think we'll need them? But then, we women never fight in battle here." Gwenneth smiled at this. "I guess Elegost and Gandalf will be the only ones able to fight if we are attacked by...by..." she couldn't bring herself to say Nazgul. For honestly, her mind hadn't even come across this.
After bidding over Meldawen's answer [sorry, I just realized you were with Ellie and Eru!] Gwenneth said, "Well, I'm still at square one. I don't understand it." She cast Gandalf a glance. The wizard was looking up the sky, and seemed not to hear.

Gandalf turned to the girls and winked pointing to the city of Bree.
"If you wish we can stop by Bree and collect weapons, unless you don't think you need them and we can continue. I can provide you with bows and small daggors but if you need a sword.. well we will have to go to Bree." Gandalf said in his jolly tone of voice.
Pandora looked at the others and shrugged her shoulders, she couldn't weild a sword to save her life but she was not to bad with a bow.
Gandalf seemed to have read her mind and handed Pandora a bow and quiver of arrows out of no where.
"Thank you Gandalf!"

[Don't worry FaZ, I'm here to reply. I just got a tad confused with our group being split in two. This post applies to both FaZ and Lothwen]
FaZiovsky wrote: FaZ was toddling round and trading his things from 21st century, for indispensable equipment. When he, finally, purchased two, quite long knives (sometimes called scimitars), he decided to come back to his A-u friends. "So... We are waiting for Curunir, and then, we will go, right?" He said smiling. "Eh, what's wrong with you?" The girls seemed to be quite confused. "It's still me, FaZiovsky! Just changed my clothes, i wanted something more lotrish." He grinned and continued. "And... That elf..." FaZ pointed at a tall man, who'd been talking with Luthien. "Who is he? A while ago, when he was selling me these scimitars, he said that he will lead us on our way to Rivendell, something like that... Is that true?"
"Oh, that's Lord Uruvion, one of Galadriel's people... according to Luthien he's agreed to be our guide to Rivendell," Larael replied looking FaZ up and down.
She almost hadn't recognised him when he came back, for he no longer wore his modern day clothing, but that of an Elvish warrior.
Larael heard someone move behind her and turned around to find herself face to face with Lothwen again.
"Hello," Lothwen said brightly,"How long have you been here?"
"Haven't been here long, maybe a couple of hours..." Larael said trailing off and looking up into the canopy of trees.
Lothwen looked up too, and then said," Do you know what age we're in?"
"Hmmm?" Larael abruptly looked Lothwen in the face," Oh... erm, probably before the War of the Ring, at least that's what Luthien said."
Silence hung between them, and then Larael said," I wish Curunir would hurry up, I'm really anxious to get on the road... I have this bad feeling that Lothlorien isn't the safest place to be somehow."

"I stayed up late watching ROTK last night, and then I woke up on Weathertop! It was freaky!" Elenya told the group. "By the way, did Gandalf say something about weapons?" Instantly she was holding a bow and quiver of arrows. "Sweet! Now I just gotta learn to use them."

Gwenneth too found herself bearing a bow, arrows, a quiver across her back, and then a small dagger fastened along her waist.
"Well, I'm not exactly an archer, but I really feel safer with it," she winked. But her smile instantly faded as she followed Elegost's stare. Her mouth parted slightly, and she felt a chill race down her spine, leaving her cold.
"It's p-probably just a hunter out...on a black horse, wearing a long hooded cloack," Gwenneth said, ending the sentence darkly.

Idril suddenly blurted out, having remained silent for the most part. "I was chased by a wraith... I landed right there on the other side of a log from it! Heck, I thought it was our neighboring farmer playing a trick on me, but it turned out to be one of the dark riders..." She stared towards the figure with a shudder, not really looking forward to another encounter.
"That's when I met up with Aragorn, and well, I'll bet he thought me totally insane, from what I was wearing and what I was blurting out and all, but he took me to Bree, and that's where I met up with Elegost."
