Mirima felt the presence nearer than before. It was attacking the others, feeling for their strengths and weaknesses...The aura reached out, seeking her, its mal-intent clear. This time, though, she was prepared. Her entire mind and will were focused upon it's defeat. For a while they fought, the others oblivious to Mirima's struggle. Then, like the crashing of a wave, the barrier was broken. The aura retreated slightly, and the Elf slumped against Illith's neck, weak and in pain.
The other Elves seemed to be leaving for the capitol. Holding herself as straight as possible, Mirima made ready to follow them.
