Silmarwen gave a slight smile, "It is not so closely guarded now, and I have taken shady characters in there before, and they took my word that they could be trusted under my watch..."

She shrugged slightly, "I cannot think of any other place, because in the cities of men, elves stand out... and besides, you said they never dared send you to Lorien, so they wouldn't dare to look for you there..."

Niell sighed and stood up rather stiffly. "I doubt that they will waste their time looking for me at all." He smiled, "but I would like the chance to see Lorien for myself."

Silmarwen nodded and smiled, "I'd be glad to show it to you." She too got to her feet, though wincing slightly. She looked at Niell, then slowly smirked. "You'd fit in quite well anyway," she spoke with a chuckle. "Just don't go showing them any of your blades, they'd be sure to know where they are from in one glance," she warned, "and then I cannot help you if they find out..."

Niell grinned, "no problem." He looked slightly confused, "what do you mean by saying I'd fit in?"

"Because of your looks. I'm actually somewhat noticably different than those in Lorien, because of my redish hair and somewhat darker skin, but you'd fit in better then I would," Silmarwen replied, again chuckling. She clasped her hands behind her back and started walking.

After walking in silence for a few hours, Silmarwen let out a sigh. "You're really not the talkitive type, are you?" she smirked. "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live peacefully?" she questioned, trying to start a conversation.

Silmarwen nodded. "Yeah... I would think it would be rather boring," she grinned and glanced up at the boughs of the trees. Sighing again, she looked at the ground. "I do, think, however, one can grow rather dark minded when they haven't had peace. Too much past to remember, and it's hard to forget the things you go through, then it haunts you, even in your peaceful times...and then peace never truly exists..." she turned her gaze to him. "I suppose you would know a lot about that, eh?"

Niell thought for a moment. "Well I won't deny that I can have dark thoughts at times. I've done things I'm not proud of, but then I think everyone has. As for being haunted by my past...I guess I've learned to get over it."

Lorien is a pleasent place, and one does not realize how much time they have spent there, though the true glory faded when the Lady Galadriel left... " She smiled softly while she walked on, not noticing the light of day dimming, her thought lost in memories.
