Tulmind pushed himself to a sitting postion to greet the man. "Nice to meet you finally. I've been inspecting your handiwork," he paused and pointed to a very nicely stitched wound on his one arm, "I was looking forward to this." Pulling over his scimitars he began to strap them on. He could accept being paralized.... but not without his blades.

the healer smiled and nodded. " thank you, sir. and i can see you are ready to be well again." he looked at the blades around his waist. " so, this lady tells me of your journey. i have some supplies for you. when your well. but for now i have some herbs for you, they will help you walk within the day." he said handing them to him. " use them sparingly. you may need them more along the way to your destination." he said wisely.
he looked at the two, " come by my house, the two of you, when you can walk." he said talking to Tulmind.

Tulmind smiled and accepted the herbs. "Thank you," he replied"At my rate I'll need these soon!" As the healer left Tulmind stuffed the herb bag into his coat pocket that hung in the corner of the tent. The next few hours went by in a blur, but still he would not have wished it to go any slower. Because when it was finally dark he could stand walk and sprint like he was able to normally. Coming back inside the tent he unstrapped his scimitars and his normal black garb leaving on his pants of course and fell on his mat with a thud. Panting to Raelyn he gasped, "It's late... we should... get some... sleep." Tulmind focused his breathing for just a second which helped his breathing immensly. Shifting on his mat he moved it a little bit more twoards Raelyn's. "So," he said regaining his composure,"What happened when I fell at Erebor? I mean to say... who saved me? I thought for sure I was dead."

Though it was meant to be a retreat it soon became a rout. Men and elves were running to save themselves from the cruel onslaught of the trolls. They were pursued as far as Erebor. When they finally passed its gates the trolls turned back. Now Airemelero hoped they would not return but he feared that they might devise a plan to break through the barricades.
He was barely conscious when he found something to lie on. He just fell like dead and slept for he had not done so for several days or so it seemed to him.

Elenriel sank against a stone wall as they shut themselves in Erebor. Gasping for breath, she closed her eyes as she tried to still the wild beating of her heart.
"Get some rest, my lady." a familiar voice told her and she looked up to see Sadron standing above her. "You will have need of it." he added softly before walking away to where a group of the men had gathered.
Too exhausted to even think or argue, she found a place to rest and quickly sank into a dreamless sleep.

Raelyn looked at him and smiled as he came in from running. " well looks like your better." she said sitting up from where she was laying.
Raelyn nodded when he said something about getting sleep and was about to get to it. but then she heard his next question and looked at the ground a little embarressed. " it twas, i who saved you Tulmind.." she said hoping that he wouldnt get scared away by the feelings she felt for him. she wondered if he even knew. she shook those things from her mind and then spoke again. " but Airmelero and Elenriel came and helped keep you alive. it is truely they who are to thank." she said softly.

Tulmind cocked his head and gave a slight grin."No you didn't... your playing with me. You didn't just charge into the middle of the orcs and save me." But looking at her face he realized that she was serious. "Raelyn... that was a sacrifice I was willing to make. Why would you try to save me? It was I who was trying to buy you all some very needed time. Raelyn," he whispered.... was it possible she had feelings for him? He had never been in a relationship with someone before, he had never thought that anyone think of him that way. But now... "Raelyn?" he asked knowing she knew the entire question... it was one she had repeated to herself over and over... and now it was time to answer.

" w-wel i-i uh...i" she studdered. she thought for a moment that he may be mad becuase she saved him. she heard him speak her name as a question. " yes?" she answered tears coming to her eyes. <i> please don't be angry with me, please please, i love you</i> she thought to herself. she watched his face for any signs of anger. but it wasnt there.
she looked for any signs of love <i> maybe just, maybe</i> she thought.
she looked around and then back at him, she looked into his eyes and wanted to get all of her feelings take control and she wanted to scream and blurt out, i love you. but she didn't she stood up and ran outside. she stood there panting it was if she was out of breath.

When Airemelero woke up it was near dawn. Throughout the night it had been quiet but still he did not trust the silence. He wondered what Raelyn and Tulmind were doing but then he reluctantly turned to other matters again.
He could not sleep any more so he got up and had a look at the men and elves. Nearly all of them were sleeping
"That does not surprise me", he thought. They had all been exhausted. "I only hope these trolls don't return..."
He turned around and started to look for Elenriel. It took a while for single persons are difficult to find in a bunch of sleeping people but at last he spotted a female shape lying somewhere on the floor. She was still asleep but she seemed not hurt.
At that moment a thought flashed through his mind "The wounded!" He had completely forgotten about anyone else. At once he started looking for injured people.

Elenriel awoke shortly after dawn. Pushing back a strand of her long ebony hair she slowly sat up and glanced around the hall. The night had been relatively calm and she was grateful for their moment's respite. Yet, she knew that their peace was not to last for long. The enemy had defeated them once, no doubt they would try to finish the job. Yet, in these early morning hours, the serenity that prevailed the room seem to belie the tumultuous hours of the day before. Rising silently, she wondered how Raelyn and Tulmind fared and prayed that they were alright, yet she put thoughts of her friends from her mind as she glanced around the silent hall. Catching a glimpse of a lone figure in the distance, she swiftly walked toward him, recognizing at once the figure of Airemelero. "Can I be of assistance?" she asked him approached.

"I guess all we can do is stay here within the Mountain and wait for reinforcements. We are defeated."

Elenriel was slightly taken aback-never before had she heard such finality in the ranger's voice. "We can not give up hope now." she said quietly. "Too many have fallen in our previous assault. We can not let them die in vain." She sighed then, completely remembering their route. "I am not saying to attack them again directly, but we should prepare in case they come for us. At least now we have some idea of their power. If they are overconfident in their abilities, perhaps we can turn that to our advantage."

Tulmind threw away his covers and stood, so Raelyn did love him. Walking outside their he stood behind her and he suddenly felt a little uncomfortable in only his pants. Pushing away those thoughts he studied Raelyn. She was shaking and panting, and he could only guess as to how much his next move would mean to her. He only stood in the cold watching his breath escape his lips and turn into a white fog and then dissapear... did he want to be with Raelyn? There were plenty of women in middle-earth that would find him handsome, should he just go with Raelyn since they were close friends? But how many women would rush in battle to save even if they knew that he would die and so would they? Then carry him on horseback for a week and have him healed while he was unconcious? Inhailing and then letting his breath flow out of his mouth he moved close to Raelyn. When she turned her head to look at him he could almost see the reflection of his own lavender orbs in hers they were so close. Placing his left hand on her left hip and slipping a slender hand behind her neck he tilted her head and pulled her lips against his locking them in their first kiss.

( awwwwwwwwwwwwww that was cute! very amazingly well written too)
Raelyn was almost caught in shock, but some how she felt it coming. she leaned into the kiss and slid her arms around his waist. she closed her eyes. she could feel the passion burning between them. Raelyn couldnt deny her love for him now. she pulled away for a moment and only a moment to say three words. " i love you" she spoke so soft, almost a wisper, the words beat upon her lips as she spoke them.
she kissed him again and then layed her head on his chest waiting for him to say something.

(( Tulmind and Raelyn are coming. as soon as we get out the fact that they love each other i'll make it skip like 2 weeks so we can have already sent the first 2 reinforments....if thats alright?))
