Amalia saw out of the corner of her eye, Amara wave, and glanced over, seeing Boromir. She smiled but didn't wave, knowing her friends would most likely notice.

Amalia blushed heavily and went slightly shifty eyed at her friends. "Excuse us a moment..." she said with a slight cough. She grabbed Amara by the arm and pulled her over to Boromir and Legolas.

Legolas had his head bowed slightly and when he looked up, he saw Amara and Amalia approaching them. He smiled warmly at Amara and bowed deeply, taking her hand and kissing it. "Milady... I am overjoyed to see your fair face once again..." He gave Boromir a slight sideways look, as though he knew Boromir had something to do with the girls coming over.

Alana looked to Legolas and sighed. "I tend to lie a lot, don't I?" She looked to the ground, a little sad. She folded her arms and stayed silent.

Boromir took them a ways away, and stood them next to a fountain. "Mi'lady... it may be months... years, until we see each other again. I want to do something now, before I run out of courage." He looked into her eyes and caressed her cheek, softly. He then kissed her gently.

Legolas' expression saddened slightly, and it would be heart wrenching to even the coldest hearts to see even the slightest saddness in an elf. "Milady... do not speak of lies which you could only be saying to save yourself perhaps... I can see it in your eyes when you are not fully honest... I know you are not from Middle Earth, that I have already guessed on my own even before you had spoken to me of it, and I care not where you are from, as long as you promise to remain here and wait for my return, fair maiden, for ... if ... I return, and you were not to be here, I fear my heart would indeed find sadness..." He reached a gently hand over and placed it on the side of her face.

Amalia was taken aback at first, but closed her eyes and returned the kiss gently, breathlessly. Slowly she opened her eyes and pulled away to look at him, confused at first, then with a firm expression as she made up her mind. "But milord... it is my firm intention to follow you on this journey... as the two young hobbits Merry and Pippin stated, I shall not be left behind!"

Amalia smiled in a somewhat triumphant way. She was going on the quest! And the others were coming, of course! She'd have no other way. Besides, she was looking forward to teasing the others when they finally did get to meet their favorites and fell in love with them, which she was sure they would. She held both Boromir's hands and smiled brightly, looking into his eyes, but a tinge of worry came over her as she remembered what might happen later on... but they'd come to that later. She shrugged it off lightly

Legolas was a little disappointed she had not asked to come along, but at the same time relieved, for he could imagine endangering her in any way by taking her along. He embraced her warmly, resting his chin atop her head. "I shall miss you as well, fair maiden"
