Raelyn kept stairing at the pond. she looked up at Serian..."we should get going..." she didn't want to be vunrable she didn't want to appear weak. she jumped up on her horse and rode back to the others. "we should get going....." she simply said...she didn't wait for anyone she started her horse with a trot.

Eruraina, the whole time, was leaning against Orlinos's shoulder. He was crouching like a cat, wings folded.
We have no time for sorrow. If they wanted to cry, they should have done it at the castle. Orlinos comented, but only Eruraina heard this.
It is a hard time for them. It is good to have a good cry. But I do agree, this is no time for it.
Elves are so emotional Rain elbowed Orlinos.
Hey! It's true! Every time I visit the city of Rivendell, the elves are happy, depressed, sad, angry... never just content.

Constince shook her head and climed into her saddle once again. She had no intention of letting Raelyn get hurt, no matter how much the princess disliked her at this point in time. She nudged Shadow Stalker into a trot and followed at a distance.

Following Constince, Alendariel smiled. "Congratulations. I am truly happy for the both of you. I think you will enjoy marriage greatly. At any rate, Lady Raelyn will become accustomed to your presence, though she may resist it for the present." a sad smile drifted over her lips, her gaze becoming distant. "My in-laws are not fond of me for this reason, although my husband is dead. They never grew accustomed to me, but I think Lady Raelyn to be different from them. Her heart is purer and more loving. She will come to accept you." Alendariel said in a manner which she hoped was assuring.

Gernhart watched his soon to be bride ride behind him. he slowed his horse and looked into her eyes. "are you alright?" he asked softly wile rubbing his thumb on her wet cheek.

*Upon Raelyn's leaving, Sarien leapt back onto Aurous. Legolas led her back to the others, and they followed behind Alendariel. Sarien had an odd feeling, though she could not firgure out what it was. Even Legolas's warm smile did not comfort her much.*

Alendariel joined the others, and led off into the woods, glancing at the road to ensure she didn't see any orcs. "Let us go deeper." she suggested.

Raelyn stoped her horse. as she heard Alendirel..."deeper? into where? the woods? did i miss something?" she asked as she had no clue what they were talking about. she prolly had run off when they talked about which way to go.

"Yes." Alendariel said in response to Raelyn. "A great party of orcs is just ahead of us. We shall have to pass them through the woods, but silence is of the utmost importance." she said, not looking at Raelyn as she spoke, rather at the forest before her.

Raelyn nodded and waited for someone to lead the way.

Gernhart was the first into the woods. He looked at Raelyn and nodded for her to follow him. "stay close to me" he intructed

Raelyn nodded. she could tell he was feeling like something was wrong. she looked at Serian and could see the same look on her face.

just then a bloody elf came running from the direction from where the orcs were. he was from lothlorion.(sp) he knelt before Raelyn automaticly reconizing who he was. Raelyn knew who he was too. she jumped off the horse and caught him just as he almost fell. "my lady Raelyn. Galadrial sent me and a few other men to help you on your quest. but we got attacked by that band of orcs up ahead." he pointed in that direction.

Gernhart jumped off his horse. "please crandol take my horse" Gernhart knew who he was as well.

Crandol gladly swung up on the horse. just then everyone saw 2 more men come running up to them. "crandol they slayed them all. we are the only ones who could get away." Crandol looked at them surprised.

Raelyn stood there almost in shock at what had just happend.
