Eleshna's smile brightened. She was looking forward to moving on, especially with a friend.

"Very well, I believe now is as good a time as any," she replied with a slight laugh and went to prepare the horses.

She offered her arm as support for Jaden as the horses stood waiting patiently.

"Thankyou." Jaden expressed his gratitude as he accepted Eleshna's help. Syndar was down on his front knees, allowing Jaden to easily slip on the horse.


After he was on Jaden waited for Eleshna to mount before moving out.

Many of the men had decided to move out with them, a small group of only ten remaining behind for a short time to watch over those wounded who still were not ready to move yet.

Eleshna settled into her saddle, and began to ride away, glancing back with a slight shiver.

She turned forward and smiled slightly, letting out a sigh of relief.

Eleshna glanced back at Jaden and smiled, then looked forward again.

The sun was shining and the skys were blue, and the air was light and easy to breath. Eleshna took a deep breath and closed her eyes, listening to the birds chirping and smiling brightly at the feeling of freedom.

Jaden was glad to have got all the fighting ove with. It was ironic that all his life had been spent fighting and he never liked it...

It was a four days ride before they would reach Ketra's house at there curent pace.

Eleshna glanced at Jaden before urging her mare into a steady canter.

Once the sun had set, she insisted they stop and rest for Jaden's sake, and the horses as well.

Eleshna leaned against a tree and gazed off in the direction of the valley. Her thoughts went back to all the years she had spent, or more so wasted, being controlled and used. Silent, she folded her arms, her gaze distant.

As the morning lit the sky, Eleshna was still in the same position, leaning against the tree, as she watched the dawn unravel, as though for the first time.

Jaden opened his eyes as the sun glared over the horizen, the morning light spraying across the land like glittering gold.

"You awake?" he called over to Eleshna, not bothering to turn his neck that had got stiff over night because of it's akward position.

Eleshna was pulled from her trance like gaze by Jaden's voice. "Yes, I'm awake..." she spoke quietly with a smile. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, you?" he replied as he helped himself to his feet with the tree for a suport.


He looked around to locate Syndar and make a mental note of where he was.. but then he noticed that Azher was missing.

Eleshna shook her head, "No, I couldn't sleep..." her gaze was still set in the same direction. She had obviously been there the whole night, and hadn't even attempted to sleep.

"We can wait to move out. Give you a chance to get some rest." Jaden offered, still looking around for Azher.. then whistling sharply for him to come.

"I thought Azher stayed reletively close....?" It was more of a question than a statement.

"He ussualy does." Jaden said in a preocupied sounding voice.

Whistling again he noticed something moving in the bushes and moved over to chack it out.

To his amazment there was azher... only it wasn't egsactily Azher. He was in some sort of protective shell that was a s big as a horse and see through.... it seemed that he was growing.
