Eleshna followed Jaden curiously. "What is it...?"

She looked at Jaden then looked at the small dragon and the shell, puzzled.

".... I.. "Jaden paused... "Not sure."

Apperently he had been htere all night.

Azher had long had the capability to communicate with Jaden... but what was about to happen shocked him.

Avoice... or more like a fealing that was interpreted into words entered his mind, informing Jaden that he was going through one of the manny stages i his life. It would be finished in another day.

Azher had allso sent he message to Eleshna, which surprised Jaden even more when he foudn out that he had learned how to translate his own words so a normal human could understand without learning.

Eleshna sat down cross legged and watched curiously. "Strange... like... a butterfly..."

She folded her arms and tilted her head slightly and just sat there, watching. "Do we need to stay here and wait?..."

Eleshna leaned against the same tree she had that night, and resumed her silent gazing. She propped one foot back against the tree.

It was a long day.. so it seemed. It had been so long since Jaden had a whole day, sitting doinig nothing.

All Eleshna seemed to do was stand and stare. She finally broke from the stare and walked over to Jaden.

Standing there, she bowed her head for a while, her eyes closed. "I wanted to thank you... officially thank you... for releasing me from Veron's hold... and giving me true freedom..."

She lifted her gaze slightly, tears brimming her eyes, even though she smiled. "It means so much to me to finally take a breath without worrying about it being heard or spotted, or controlled.... and it's a little overwhelming actually, but I am truly grateful, and if there was ever anything I could do, just ask it of me..."

Jaden looked up at her, standing to his feet.

"It was the least I could do for a friend. And the only thing I ask of you is to ask me for help when you need it, and alwasy do what you believe to be the corect corse of action." Jaden replied softly.

Eleshna smiled softly. "I'll do as you bid, but I still insist in help you if ever you need it..." she chuckled softly.

After a moment of hesitation, she gave him a firm embrace, then pulled away, feeling rather awkward about it since it had been years upon years since she had even recieved a kind embrace from a friend, the last being not too pleasent a memory as that friend had died shortly after.

"Sorry..." she smiled slightly and shook her head, chuckling. "It's been so long since I've been able to call someone a friend..."

Jaden was a bit surprised by her actionis but didn't realy mind. The first thing that came to his mind was hiis mother and father who used to hug him every night before he went to bed.

"That's ok." Jaden smiled. "It's been a long time for both of us.. and I am glad it's over." he added puting his hand on her shoulder before walking over once more to check on Azher who was still in the process of rapid growth.

That night Jaden slept well, another surprise to him. It had been too long since he had got many good nights sleep.

The next morning however seemed to come all too soon as a ground shacking roar was herd.

Then out of the bushes came Azher the once small dragon ow as large as a good sized horse.
