Constince carefully picked her way through the dinse underbrush as she looked for firewood. Suddenly a rough hand clamped down on her arm and spun her arround to face a menicing dark elf. "We finally found you ... His lordship ought to be pleased about that." The man said with a terrifying grin. Constince instinctively reached for her sword and daggers, only to remember that she had left them back at the camp. She screamed, but the man claped another roughhand over her mouth effectively silenceing her, then drug her away through the deep forest.

just as Raelyn and sarien were in the middle of their conversation, she heard a short scream and then nothing. she looked around quickly to see if anyone was missing. she relized that contence was missing. "sarien, did you hear that?" she asked getting worried.

Gernhart was up on his feet already grabed his swords. "legolas, please come with me to find contence she left about 10 mins ago to get firewood...she may be in danger..."

Raelyn looked at Gernhart, " Gernhart, let me go with you." she said standing up and letting go of crandol's hand.
Gernhart looked at Raelyn sternly, " no Raelyn you must stay here, i don't want you to get hurt." Gernhart looked at Crandol. "Crandol. would you come with us as well?"
Crandol nodded. " yes i will go." he grabed his sword and stood next to Gernhart.
Raelyn looked at them both, almost in tears. she ran and huged Gernhart, then turned to Crandol and huged him tightly. she didn't want to let him go. before letting go she looked him in the eyes and kissed him.
Gernhart rolled his eyes."all right all right, come on......."
Gernhart waited for legolas.

Constince didn't know where she was. She had been blindfolded and gaged, then trusled up like a saddlepack and thrown over the back of a horse. Several time she had slipped into uncontiousness and had lost track off all time.

"I am ready. Sarien, please stay here." Legolas said. He gave Sarien a quick kiss before drawing his twin knives and standing beside Gernhart. Legolas had a serious expression on his fair face.

Sarien hated being left behind, but she stayed anyways. She let out a heavy sigh and said to Raelyn: "I really hope that they are alright."

Gernhart lead everyone through the forest to where he heard Contences screaming. he turned to Crandol. " mark a path so we don't get lost."he said seriously. Gernhart would do anything to keep Contence alive and well....he would even die for her.

Crandol pulled out some lambas and crumbeld it and made a trail so they wouldnt get lost.

Gernhart looked at Crandol like he was stupid. "not the food you idiot."
Crandol looked dumb founded. "oh, i'm sorry."
Crandol started breaking branches from where they had been. he would put these places away in his memory and use them if needed.



back at camp Raelyn stood at the part of the woods that the small group went in. she sat there for what seemed like hours but really it wasn't all that long. she looked back at the others every once and awile.
finally she talked to sarien. " what if they don't come back by tomorrow...or nightfall?" she asked.

Constince awakened to the sound of a harsh voice just above her ear. The first think she noticed was the throbbing headache, the smell of damp earth and trampled plants, and that both her shoulders burned like living fire. She tried to turn her head to see who was speaking, but the throbbing made her vision blur when she did, so she lay still, wishing again for the silence of uncontiousness. Her wish was soon answered as a pair of strong arms grabbed her still tied wrists and yanked her upright.

Alendariel glanced apologetically at Sairen. "I'll go with them." she said.

"Then we shall go after them. We can not risk losing them." Sarien said in response to Raelyn.

her mind was going crazy with ideas about what could be happening right now...


Gernhart got to the place where he thought he heard the screams of his beloved...he saw a plie of sticks she had been gathering for firewood as well..he picked of a stick and slamed it into the ground. he yelled out of anger. " i should have went with her, this would have never happend if i was with her." he said.
Crandol broke another tree that was near by. he saw that there were horse hoof tracks in the ground. "Gernhart, legolas...i found something." he pointed twards the hoof prints.

Constince awakened to cold water being thrown in her face. She took a deep breath, looked around and saw the man that had captured her holding a bucket. "Get up!" He ordered, and she did as she was told. She had been untied sometime while she had been uncontious and there were open wounds on her wrists and ankles where the rope had bitten into her skin. 4 guards surrounded her and they were given the orger to go. Several times she was prodded in the back because the guards thought she was walking to slow. Suddenly the guards parted and she was shove unceromoniously through the opening of a black silk tent. She stumbled and landed on her hands and kneese on the floor of the tent.

Rain watched Legolas, Crandol, and Gernheart go. She leaned against the tree of the trunk, arms crossed. Anyone who saw her expression wouldn't dare to even talk to her. She looked like she would murder the first person to speak to her. Eruraina wasn't in the best of moods, as she glared daggers at the falling sun.
Orlinos, Go to Legolas, Gernheart, and Crandol... you would be very much help, she ordered with testy thoughts.
How would I be of help to them? Orlinos asked, recieving a glare.
Look from above for Constance, and use your nose... I don't know! Rain snapped back.
Orlinos shook his head as Rain's mood, and flew off...

Raelyn heard the flapping of wings and watched Orlinos fly off twards the way Gernhart and the others went. Raelyn went over to Rain. " did you send Orlinos with the guys that went to find contence?" she asked.

Rain nodded, closing her eyes and thinking. From abover, her and Orlinos hadn't seen anything that would cause Constance to dissapear. Bears stayed away from this area this time of year, and wolves were closer to the Shire. And the Dunadain would have kept the bandits away... unless They've been having more trouble in the North... "Something must have happened in Arnor..." she thought, then muttered out loud.
"Great Eru... I must find out how far this enemy's arm is..."

Rain had walked away from her too many times on this trip Raelyn was starting to get annoyed. she walked after her. " you seemed stressed....i know all of this is hard to deal with but...i don't know...nothing to be too worried about at the moment...just relax..." she said hoping that Rain would listen.
