"Me as well." said Alendariel. "Truly, if I can do anything to help you, speak it." she turned back to Lilane. "Now then. As for resources, perhaps we might ask Lord Elrond."

Alendariel nodded, turning her gaze to Maralyn. "If necessary, I could call upon some former friends...but I would prefer that that be a last resort." she said.

[Sorry I haven't been posting, but I've been away. ]
Maralyn turned to Alendariel and spoke quietly, her voice sad. "I fear your friends may be our only choice, mellon nin, for Lord Elrond left for the Undying Lands several years ago. I thought you knew." A faint sigh escaped the she-elf's lips.

Alendariel sighed. "No, I had not known." she glanced up. "Very well. I shall return within the week. Whether I shall return successful or not shall be determined." she turned to find Galadelen.

Lilaine looked at Maralyn. " i think we better get this young man burried..." Lalaine wasn't sure how Maralyn knew this child.

Maralyn slowly clenched and unclenched her fists, although the action was hidden beneath the folds of her sleeves. "I believe his father will have already made preparations," she whispered, "Our present concern is preparing for our embarkment...or whatever you prefer to call it." The she-elf abruptly stood up and swiftly glided out of the room.
Taranu looked up from his bowl of soup and raised a brow. "Apparently I missed something." he mumbled, nodding to the others.

Alendariel slowly mounted Galadelen, apprehension growing within her. "If they kill me..." she said softly to herself. She cleared her throat and spurred Galadelen forward.
(I'm going to be away...funeral out West...I'll be gone for about a week. I'll try to catch up when I get back.)

Awww, *Huggles Mil* You'll be in my thoughts.
-----
Vasa quietly slipped from the room to where Maralyn stood silent in thought. She placed her hand on the other Elf's arm,
"Try not to worry yourself so Maralyn, we can and we will get though this."
She smiled encouragingly.

Maralyn attempted a smile, hastily brushing away the tears which threatened to drip onto the floor. "Hannon le, mellon," she said in a quiet voice. "I am hoping that we will all be able to get through these difficult times. I...I fear for Imladris."

Reniel glanced at the pair. "Lady Maralyn...you may yet have the chance to save Imladris. I have every assurance that someone of your strenghth will endure." she smiled briefly. "Go while you still can...ease your fears for Imladris." she urged.

Vasa nodded, "Reniel is right Maralyn, we can get through this, Imladris will not fall, not while there are still Elves walking in its grounds. Hebo estel."

Maralyn's soft brown eyes flitted from one Elf to the other, her heart being somewhat enlightened as a result of their encouragement. "Don't you two ever lose hope?" she said, the hint of a grin touching her lips. In truth, she had never met anybody like the travellers who had chosen to visit Imladris recently. She only hoped that together, they might end the threat which now caused to jeopardize the lives of all that dwealt within the Elven city.
The She-elf stood, brushing a hand across one eye. "Come; let us rejoin the others in the dining hall. If you have no place to sleep this night, I am sure my brother would accomodate you all in his abode."

Psst, Maralyn, Vasa and Fearon live in Imladris anyway.
---
Vasa nodded and smiled sympathetically, "Fearon and I will return to our home. We will come and speak with you in the morning, then we can decide our course of action properly." The three Elves proceded in to the dining hall.

Lilaine was still in the dining hall sitting and waiting for Maralyn to return.
