Eilwynn listened intently as Sen spoke, her eyes clouding over, it seemed, as if she were lost within her own pensive thoughts about what was to come. An overwhelming feeling of vulnerability swept over her, as she thought of a war. Two Storms. Clashing together..

Eilwynn had never been in a war, though she had been in many skirmishes throughout her life. Fighting came easy to her, for what reason, she was still unsure of. But a war is much different.

Suddenly, she realized that she had drifted off into her own melancholy reverie, and neglected the others in reality. Shaking her head, she looked at Sen, who seemed exhausted, just as he said he would be. Deawen seemed to be restoring her power, what that power was, Eilwynn hadn't the faintest idea.

A girl had appeared, and was know knealing beside Sen, asking something.

Eilwynn tightened her heavy cloak ( She had picked it up,)around her slender form, and took a few steps closer towards them, though she was still a good yard or two away.

She remained mute for the most part, for her voice seemed lost, but she cast a questioning glance at them, almost as if asking with her amber eyes what she should do.

*Sen stopped what he was doing, and went over to Deawen.*
Cold, are you? This might help, yet do not tell anyone about it.
*Without warning, Sen took out a small razor sharp dagger, and sliced his hand open. Blood poured from the wound, but Sen closed his fist, and after a few minutes, opened it again. In it, was a blood red gemstone, and the cut was gone. He handed it to Deawen, and as she took it, warmth flooded through her body, given off by the small gemstone...*

Eilwynn frowned, and turned around, mounting the large black stallion gracefully, holding the black leather sturrups in her hands tightly, as she circled for a moment.

In a loud, yet calm voice, she spoke: " I'm going to bring news of this disaster to King Theoden of Rohan, and perhaps bring back much needed supplies. Those who would like to come are welcome."

She smiled, yet as soon as it had come, it faded, and she turned around, and headed off into the night in a slow canter.

Deawen held the gem stone with wonder in her eyes when she was still a youth she would have fled in terror but know that she had had her own power to worry about to keep it in check and her self from getting weak from cold. the heat from the gem coursed through her veins it heated her quickly. Deawen got off the hot coals she covered the gem with her hands "thank you my lord"she said.

Hearing what Eilwynn said, Rowyn made a dash for her horse and sped after her. "May I come with you? I am known to King Theoden and his Niece, Eowyn." She waited for Eilwynn's reply hoping that there would be time to either bring her father with them or at least tell him where she was going...

*Sen began to walk away towards the remaining trees, and the sound of chopping wood.*
It was nothing, my lady.

Eilwynn smiled as Rowyn caught up to her grateful that she would not have to make this short journey alone.

" Of course, m'lady, what might be your name, then?" She had slowed the stallion's pace so that she rode right beside Rowyn, gazing curiously over at her.

Deawen held out the gem examining Sen had more hidden tricks than Deawen had ever dreamed of Deawen kept her power in check but sometimes it would build up and release its self at the wrong time. the gift of fire was sometimes a burden when she was a child when her friends would go off the near by stream Deawen stayed behind the Water seemed to make her skin dry and brittle but only if she submerged her self in it a wet cloth never bothered her so she could use water but not in large qaunities.

*Sen went back to the trees, and began to grow them again...*

"I am Rowyn Steelsheen, Daughter of Eodred, and Sister-Daughter to King Theoden." She straightened on her horse as she named her lineage and looked very regal and noble. "I wish to come with you, but may you be delayed for a short time so that I can tell my honored father where I am going? He is just over in those woods." She waved her hand over to her right as she spoke, her eyes pleaded with Eilwynn to let them go to him.

Eilwynn listened quietly, a small smile curving her lips as Rowyn spoke. She was no doubt proud of her family. Eilwynn almost wished she knew as much of her own.

" I wish to come with you, but may you be delayed for a short time so that I can tell my honored father where I am going? He is just over in those woods."

Eilwynn slowed her horse to a stop, but did not look at Rowyn. " Of course, but be swift."

"Of course, but be swift." Rowyn rejoiced in her heart at these words. She gave Eilwynn a look of gratitude. "Aye, I will be, and I thank thee." she replied, then she sped Charman off towards her father's camp. When she reached it she found her father sleeping and Eoden sitting beside the fire. "Eoden!" she exclaimed as she jumped from her horse. "Yes I am here." he said glumily "I am glad you are back, but now I must go." he looked at her in surprise. "Why?" "There is a lady who is going to ask for aid from Uncle Theoden, I believe it would be wise for one of his kin to go, and.." she added sorrowfully "...to tell him of the death of his sister." "Aye, you must go then... Don't worry about Father, I will watch after him." her brother said summoning his strength, Rowyn look at him sympathetically "I will be back soon, then I think we must all go to Edoras, for a long visit. Tell Father 'goodbye' for me!" Before he could answer she leaned over, kissed her father on the forehead, mounted her horse and waved in farewell. She raced back to where Eilwynn waited and hoped she had been swift enough...

*Sen felt Deawen watching him, and smiled as he grew the trees. She could watch and observe all she wanted, but she would forever lack the one crucial element, something that dwelled inside him and him alone.*

(your no fun! :-D one crucial element (rasberries)

Deawen was intent on figuring all the powers he uses and how they work. Deawen's own powers had only started to show her powers grew with her each year she learned something new or sometimes just out of the blue something would come along. but Deawen's was fire based just like her ancesstres. water they fear and hate air the are leary of but earth they conquer fire makes them stronger was the saying and her power was not controled by emotion but by will and Deawen's was strong. Deawen sat and watched she fingered her medallions tracing the fimilar lines softly singing.

A faint smile creased her lips once more as Rowyn returned, almost out of breath.

" Welcome back. Shall we then?" She gently kicked the stallion's sides once more, and headed off into a steady trot.
