And to think I had come to Rivendell for a vacation from traveling and ambushes... well, what a vacation this has turned out to be, she thought.
It is still all well, M'lady. New friends are better than a break, came a reply from her dragon.

Raelyn stood up and walked with lady Rain. " i will do all the talking. but if you feel as if you should add something please do! i'm not exsactly sure how he will react with this news. " she said with a little nervousness in her voice

Rain smiled, and put an encouraging hand on Realyn's shoulder.
"He is a good father, better than the one I never had. He should be proud of you wanting to help Rivendell, for it may be your duty some day when he crosses to the white shores."

Just became a college freshman; be on sparingly

*Sarien stood between Lady Raelyn and Tur, with a happy expression on her face.*

"I am with you to Lady Raelyn, and I am with everyone else here also." She said with confidence.

"Do not worry, " Sarien said to the group, "I am sure that Elrond will be fair and willing to help with our crazy little quest!"

Maybe this jouney of ours will be good for me........Hopeful it will keep Legolas and my love for him out of my mind! But who knows? Maybe I shall see him when we travel..........I hope.

Raelyn smiled at Sarien. " please just call me Raelyn."

Raelyn got to the steps of the palace and then told the group to wait there. she went and told the he-elf at the door that she and her friends needed to see her father and it was of some urgency. the he-elf nodded and went and told Lord Elrond and then let them all in after a few mins. they came into the same place where the fellowship had their meeting. and Elrond was sitting where he always does. once they all got seated Raelyn started talk about why they were there and what they wanted to do. " you see father, we need your aproval for all this. we need your help as well and the help of the soldiers of rivendell."

Lord Elrond sat there pensivly for a few mins. the silents was begining to get awkward and then he spoke. " Raelyn this is a huge task" he began to say. then he sighed with fustration. " father i know this seems big, and it is. but if we don't do anything about it now. it will only get bigger." Elrond looked at his daughter understanding what she ment. " your right, and i will suport you all on this." he looked at the group.

Raelyns face lit up. " thank you father! " she ran and gave him a hug. Elrond smiled. " ok, ok. so does anyone have any ideas of what we do first?"

"Well, I erm think that we should do a sneak attack on the enemy." Sarien said. "We need to gather our fighting forces and uh, um take the enemy out by surprise." She told them.

*Every eye was upon Sarien.*

"Just thought.......that I would.......ya know.........throw that idea of mine out there.........." Said Sarien with much embarassment.

*She quickly sat down. Sarien's cheeks blushed bight red with the akwardness.*

"I knew I should keep my mouth shut!" She mumbled to herself.

Rain smiled at Sarien's idea.
"Half of that is a good idea. We could build a force, a small force, to make a sneak attack. When the enemy is busy with that, we," she refured to the she-elves there with her hand, "can go in, disquised as evil riders in black, and take out who or what is leading this when they lest expect it. If we can't take out the leader, we can at least take out as much of the enemy as possible, and the sargents."

Raelyn looked to her father and then spoke. " i like the idea. but we need to find out where they are. they could have multiple armys placed around. like i said earlier. this could be bigger then them just attacking us. they could be attacking other places too."

Elrond watched as the group conversed.

"I have to say that I honestly do not know where the enemy is........" Sarien said. "But perhaps Lord Elrond knows who they are, where they are, and if they are attcking other places?" She asked Elrond.

Elrond looked at the them. then closed his eyes trying to find the enemy. after a few mins he looked at everyone calmly but there was a look in his eyes that ment danger. " they are attacking other places.....and....there on there way to Imaldris. they will be here with in hours. with a big army..." he called to one of his army people. " gather our soldiers. were going to need them." without question the man nodded and started rounding up troops.

*Sarien's once pleasent face suddenly turned dead serious. She whipped out her large dark-brown bow, and gripped the hilt of her Elven saber with a fierce look in her eyes.*

"We must ready ourselves for battle." She said to the she-elves around her. "I am not about to let that disgraceful army march right into this great city of ours!" Sarien shouted.

*She looked at her friend's faces that stood around her.*

"Who else will lend their blade and bow in battle tonight?" Sarien asked.

Raelyn looked at her father and pulled out a bow and arrow. " father you can not stop me from this battle." she ran out with the other troops. ready to fight. when she got to where the other soldiers go she quickly found her friend,gernhart, he was a captain in her Fathers army and one of her best friends. he was always like an older brother to her. he was only 19 years of age and the youngest captain in her Fathers army as well.

gerhart saw Raelyn running out with a bow and arrow and he caught her by her arm. "whoa what do you think your doing Rae-Rae?" Raelyn looked at him stubornly. i'm going to fight in this battle."
gerhart looked at her and simply said. " i can't let you do that. what if you got hurt!!"
" gerhart i will live. i am skilled with a bow and dagger now please let me go i want to fight. " gerhart knew he wouldn't get through to her this time. he released her arm and said. " ok well i'm putting you in my group of men so i can keep an eye on you. and save your pretty little face if needed. " he chuckled. Raelyn smiled big. " thank you!!" she huged him.
