MOrwen was listening intently. She had uncommonly good hearing for a mortal human. Suddenly, she grabbed her hunting knife and slammed it to the hilt into the ground. She bent down and listened, her ear on the handle. (Thankyou 'Hidalgo') "Someone is coming! I can hear them! We need to move, I think!"

i came out of my meditation, i fealt better but i knew that soon i would feal worse i needed to strech my muscles, i glided down it to the natural shadow of the tree and began warming up.

(I know its Morwens! so happy bday!! yay!!! And Shadow is a shapeshifter which means he can change form from trees to shadows to man... so on. Get it?)

Estel looked down.
"Well... I didnt think anyone was actually after you. But I knew that there was an increasing amout of Orc and Easterling activity about and I figured that since I was going the same way as you, I'd help you guys out if there where problems. This mysterious person I'm not worried about right now. If he wanted to kill us, he would have. Dont worry about him... worry about the army thats behind us."
She saddled up Surion quickly, and scattered the fire so it was hard to tell they had even been there. She mounted up and waited for the girls to come.

i waited as the ones on the ground got ready, meditating some more and preparing myself for the battle to come

Deawen saddled Bredol in less then three minuets then in a fluid motion she was ready to go Morwen did the same they were all ready. "SHe says the Shadow is not a threat stop worring about it Like she said if it wanted to kill it would have done so already." The voice whispered "for some reason i can't except that." Deawen replied "you were caught off guard It frightened you therefor it is a threat to you in your mind!"the voice snorted "I..." Deawen began but thought better of it "listen to Estel she will know what to do and remember your lessons!"

Deawen glanced at the dagger that hung by her side Deawen figured it was little use but it was better than nothing " i told you to pick a sword but no." the voice yawned "oh stop i didn't think happy!" "well well well you didn't think." "STOP IT"Deawen shouted aloud she blushed a deep red.

Bredol started snorting and shying Deawen glanced at morwen Breda was acting the same. then Deawen heard a noise in the distance the sound of orcs and Easterlings Bredol reared sensing Deawen's fear "Bredol calm calm calm." Deawen soothed.

Estel looked at Deawen strangely. This was something she'd have to talk about later... the horse got uneasy, causing Surion to paw the ground.
"lets go!" she said, seeing Morwen was ready aswell.
"I'd stay and fight... but not if neither of you can enough and the army is as big as I think it is." With that, Estel jabbed her heels into Surions sides, causing him to leap forward. The flight had begun. Estel glanced behind, looking towards the forest.
<i>I wonder what will become of the shapeshifter...</i>
She thought.
"This isn't right." she muttered. She wanted desperatly to turn around and help him... but he could fend for himself, couldn't he? Finally, Estel made up her mind.
"Keep going; I'll catch up with you soon!" Estel shouted at Deawen and Morwen. Estel pulled Surion to a halt, and spun him on his heels. Once turned in the other direction, Surion bolted towards the grove of trees. Upon reaching the destination. Estel called loudly,
"Come with me!" she called to the shadowy figure. "Please come with me!" She wasn't exactly sure where he was, but she knew he could hear her. She just wished he'd come with them.
"You can ride with me on my horse. I dont want you facing them alone."

i heard the cry from the girl on the ground, why was she worried about me? That was a question i could not answer. i sliped out of the trees and sat behind her on her horse, she looked at me, i wondered what she thought? and then we were headed twords the orcs.

Morwen and Deawen were riding towards the edge of the forest as fast as their mounts could take them through the trees and undergrowth. They came to a well troden path, and were able to get to a full gallop. Trusting to Breda to lead himself, Morwen put down the reins and took her bow from her shoulder and held it to her side and took the reins again. Over noise of the horses, she could hear the enemies. Orcs on wargs, Easterlings on their strange breed of horses. Unfortunately, the two friends horses were already tired from riding, and the enemies' mounts were fresh. "They must have come from a clearing off of the path when they heard us coming," she yelled to Deawen. "What should we do?"
