Rain sighed, and leaned back on her heels.
"You can't be traveling," she said, shaking her head.
"Traveling with a child is not good for the child or you. Once we get to Edoras, you're staying there. That's an order, and no arguing." she said harshly, but with understanding in her voice. Rain walked back down the hill, picked up the two deer, and started toward camp... thinking, trying to remember something that happened long ago...

Constince followed Rian silently back to the camp. When they got there she didn't bother speaking to anyone, nor did she look at Gurnhart where he sat. She walked over to Shadow Stalker and reached out to the horse's mind You need to rest young one ... You havn't slept well in a long time... and you are far too weary to be stainding here talking to me. Go rest... I'll watch over you. He thought. Constince smiled wearily and said Thank you ... She lay dwon on her bed roll and curled on her side not facing the fire, then pulled her cloak over her.

Sarien saw Rain's catch and smiled. "Glad to see you found something mellon nin." she commented brightly.

Rain nodded to Serian, and set the deer by the fire. Absentmindedly, she skinned the deer, set the fat to melt in the coals, and put the meat on sticks over the fire so it would cook. The whole while, she was thinking intently.

Constince was nearly asleep when she heard Rain call her. She sat back up and turned looking across the fire at Rain. She sat foe a moment then stood and did as she had been asked. "What do you need of me?" She asked when she was standing next to Rain.

Constince once again did as she was asked. "Very well." She looked at the things Rain pulled from the saddlebag.

Rain set out a variety of very small bottles containing liquids, a few different hurbs, and a small bag of powder. She counted what she had while cracker her knuckles. Then she looked at Constance.
"You having a child makes things much more complicated than need be. I'll give you a choice. Find out who the father is, and not have the child... kill it kind of if you want. I had to do that once. I was too ill to deliver, and so had to have the child killed inside me... That was before I had Roina. Now, for the first question, do you want to find out who the child's father is?"

Constince's face burned with embarrassment, she had been trying to find a way to tell Gurnhart, and now the entire camp knew. She closed her eyes then bowed her head willing herself not to cry. She took a deep breath and looked back up. "I don't want to kill the child, and knowing who the father is would only creat a tempting target for revenge."

Gernhart was putting some more wood into the fire and heard Rain's words. his eyes shot twards Contince. he had not fully understood what she had went through. but now he did. an anger rose up in Gernhart like he had never had before. he thew down the sticks and stomped back up the hill where he beat his fists in earlier. he yelled at the top of his lungs and sat at the bottom of the tree where he punched his fists. he sat there trying to calm down.

Rain set a warning glance at Gernhart. She new it was embarassing, but it was needed.
"Then you shall have to stay at Edoras until you have the child. You may not go back Imladris... or anywhere else. It is the closest city, and any more traveling may hurtt you and the child... and I don't want to take that risk." she said, gathering the items, and putting them in a pile.
"Ponder on that. Birthing a child is a painful experience... and even more if you don't want it to happen. Not having it happen reqires no pain at all."

Constince's silver eyes flashed angrily, "Not once did I say I didn't want this child. I was more than prepaired to stay at Edoras. The reason I was acting the way I was was because I didn't know how to tell Gurnhart and now thanks to you the ENTIRE camp knows!" She jumped to her feet and turned heading after Gurnhart.

"There's only seven people at this camp icluding you and me!" Rain called after her, standing up and stretching.
"And you came to protect Realyn... how can you do that in Edoras, while she's heading to Morder?" Rain mumbled to herself, walking over to another hill, and looking across the plains. In her mind's eyes, she saw her past, and sighed. Long years have gone by since she held a baby in her arms. Shaking her head, she rubbed watering eyes, and looked to the darkening sky.
Though I haven't had a good cry in a long time... and I have plenty to cry about, she thought to herself...

Gernhart was breaking sticks slowly in his hands thinking about what had been done to his beloved. he had managed to calm down somewhat. when he heard footsteps he jumped up then calmed down when he saw it was contince.
he could see the pained/ angered look in her face. he ran twards her and scooped her up in an embracing hug. " Contince i did not fully relized the torture you went through." he set her down and looked at her in the eyes. " i will love this maybe no matter what."

Raelyn's head jerked twards Rain. she got up, she walked over to Rain. " what do you mean she's here to protect me?!?" she asked bothered that her father did not trust that she would go and be able to fend for herself...

Constince clung to him not wanting to let go. "Rain wanted me to kill it!" She said her voice muffled because she had layed her head against his chest.
"And now I'll have to stay at Edoras until you return. Rain say's travleing is too dangerous for me and the baby... Oh Gurnhart!" Hot tears stained her cheeks.
