Reaching the stables and finding that there were three other elves in there, the siblings quickly stopped before going inside, and positioned themselves on both sides of the door. They just stood there, intent on listening for a little while..and hoping not to be seen.

After waiting and listening, and also after hearing Aradan's name mentioned, Elwen shook her head silently and went into the stables, tugging her hood up farther to hide her features so as not to bring attention to herself, and she then retrieved her horse, then her brother's, and led them outside the stables, thankful that they were already saddled up.
