She continued on, leading him into town. People ignored them, going about their business. She found an inn, and stepped inside. She reached the counter, and the owner turned. "What can I get for you?" he asked. "Two rooms, please." she paid, and he gave her two keys.

"Follow me, laddie." she spoke calmly with a hand on his shoulder. She took him up the stairs, pausing in front of their rooms, which were side by side. She unlocked his, then hers. "I will have food brought up." she said and nudged him inside.
