Elly walked in the dimming light, wanting to brust out to the Valar about her pain. If they could not understand her, who could? As her long gold hair blew in her face, she remembered the fun her and her twin brother had, before the war- anyway. Looking out on the field, Elly thought she saw a figure. It is only my mind... For it miss'es him too. She thought.

(Her name is Elly!)

Elly squinted. She was right, there was a rider coming her way. But who? She asked herself.

((okay... (is bad at remembering names) and where exactly is she?))

Tears streamed across Eruraina's face. Only minutes ago she had learned her lover, Locien, had been killed at the battle of Helm's Deep.
If only I could have been there... he wouldn't be dead now... she thought to herself. She wasn't watching where she was going. She didn't care. She just wanted the past behind her...

( A FIELD OF ROHAN)

Elly jumped out of the way, for if she did not, she would have been trampeld if she hadn't. "Watch were you are riding!" She called to the clueless rider.

((erm... near where? The Gap of Rohan, Edoras, East Emnet... here's a map: http://www.bjornetjenesten.dk/teksterdk ... h-film.jpg))

Rain snapped out of it when she heard someone yell at her.
"Whoah, Morgalad..." she said, hiding the sorrow in her voice. Then she turned, and was almost suprised to see the girl.
"I'm so sorry. I'm just very distracted right now, and wasn't expecting to find someone out here..."

Turwaithiel, an Elven ranger and friend of the "clueless rider" sped her horse up from her hiding spot and came over and almost knocked into Elly.

"Watch who you call clueless, stranger." She growled. Turwaithiel had just came from the battle, blood dripping down her shoulder and staining her light chainmail. She looked at her old friend and whispered,

"Mellon nin, I am so sorry. I tried to save him...but I was shot in the process...I tried...but..." Turwaithiel lowered her head in respect towards her old friend and ally.

Eruraina quickly wiped away her tears, and nodded.
"I just... It won't be the same without him. Not even close. I wish I could have been there." she said, her voice strong, the opposite of her sad, tear streaked face...

"If it makes you feel any better, the one that took him from you does not breath anymore." Tur said, sighing and putting a hand on her friends shoulder.

((If you want to see it, my bio is in My Charis in The Barrow Downs))

Anira rode Dagra, her wild stallion, over the plains of Rohan. She just came from the Battle of Helm's Deep, where they had victory over Saruman's orcs. Though they lost many lives, they knew there was no way to reverse what had happened.
She looked over the plains. There were two riders and one person about a mile west of her position, "What do you say Dagra? Do you want to go see who it is?"
The horse snorted in responce, he tool off in the strangers' direction.
"Okay boy." she said as she sat deeper in the saddle, urging him on.
Soon they were only a few feet from one of the riders (Tur).
Dagra stopped so quikly Anira almost fell out of the saddle. Though Anira did her best to steer him in the other direction, Dagra slammed right into the horse and rider, jostling her.
After a few seconds of making sure she and her horse were alright, she turned to the rider, "I apologise for my horse's behavior, he is still young and learning to jusge distance."

Rain wiped the remaining tears away.
"Judge distance? Any horse should be able to do that at birth... that I know of. The colt I ride right now is very young... Morgalad is his name, and a meara is he." she said, feeling comforted to talk of something as familiar to her as the back of her hand. Horses. She patted Morgalad's shoulder, and adjusted her position on her bare back...

My bio: http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/forum/vie ... 800#594800)

Elenriel rode upon her mare toward Rohan, her raven locks whipped about her in the breeze. She had received word of the bloody battle and prayed that the Prince of Mirkwood was alright. As an elven shieldmaiden she was aware that even the mightiest warrior could fall before a single stroke-death was not fickle on whom it took. “Noro lim, Turtegiel , noro lim!” she whispered as she raced through the open fields. As she charged through the plains, she halted as she came upon a group of warriors-one who looked to have come from the war itself (Turwaithiel). “Suilaid.” she said in greeting. “How did the war fare?” she asked.

Elly sighed. Every soul she had met since her brother was stolen away from her didn't even notice she was there. It's because I am short, and it isn't fair that they are on horses. She told herself.
