Post subject:  Lothlorien
Hello :) This is a role play set in Lothlorien, as you've probably guessed! I'm a big fan of this country, it's so beautiful. Now, I'm not just going to try and set this up blindly without any idea about the plot. Never fear! I have a list of roles that need filling...

-Roles-
Fáreryniel - Me. The oldest sister of the three children of Valisilwen and Adanion Starstream, she is elegant with a confident nature, but also with a tendency to take control.
Arandur - Role not yet filled! Second oldest next to Fareryniel, extremely handy with a bow; guard to Lord Celeborn.
Faelwen - Nymphadora Tonks. Youngest daughter, sister to Fareryniel and Arandur. Strong-minded.
Valisilwen- Haldir o Lorien - and Adanion - Parents of the above. Are planning to travel to the Grey Havens due to the up and coming war.

Take your pick, but you can make your own characters. :) Here's my charrie's profile...

Name: Fareryniel Starstream
Age: 1,210
Appearance: Long black hair curling loosely over her shoulders, sapphire blue eyes, porcelain white skin.
Personality: Confident, slightly controlling, but altogether kind-hearted.


Have fun! You can have visitors from other countries if you like; a visit from the Fellowship might be fun but I'm not sure yet. Namarie!

Eye Color: Hazel

Hair Color: Dark brown with a single golden Elanor in her hair.

Father: Lord Faeron of Rivendell (deceased)

Mother : Lady Aranel of Lothlorien (deceased)

Appearance: When she is journeying - a blue silk buttoned tunic, black leggings and silver boots. Her hair is almost always braided unless she is at home.

Personality: After her parents died, Aramel closed herself up and does not fully trust anyone unless she has known them for a long time. She is almost always on her guard and is very quiet. Also an experienced hunter and she could survive in the wild.

Background/History: Aramel was born in Rivendell. When her parents Faeron and Aranel Ithilwen were slain by a group of orcs, Aramel was taken in and raised by her uncle, Elrond Halfelven. She learned early on how to use a sword and is not easily trusting after loosing her family. Aramel travels a lot with Elrond’s twin sons Elladan and Elrohir.

Weapons: Long sword with a black hilt and elvish inscriptions.

Companions: A white stallion called Bree

Fáreryniel walked through the woods of Lorien, the jewels around her brow glittering in the morning sunlight. There didn't seem to be anyone about, so she could have some peace. She had her sword with her, just in case; if what Lady Galadriel had mentioned was true, then war was indeed on the boarders of Lothlorien.

Aramel Elyanwe sat under a towering Mallorn tree, its shade offering a nice retreat from the bright morning sun. Her hazel eyes took in their surroundings - the peaceful trickling streams, golden leaves and birds singing - it was just as she remembered it from childhood. She had not been to Lorien since she was a little elfling with her mother, Aranel, but yet she could remember the day perfectly.

Lost in her thoughts, Aramel almost didn’t notice Fáreryniel walk by. “Suilaid,” she said softly, remaining slumped up against the trunk of the Mallorn tree.

Hair: Long/straight black hair to knees, braided in eight braids.
Eyes: Green with hints of blue.
General appearance: Long silk robe of gold, green dresses underneath, ivory boots.
Children: Fáreryniel, Arandur, Faelwen.
Spouse: Adanion.
Personality: Kind and very wise, for her number of years in Middle-earth, and she is a very loving person. She is slow to trust others, though she never shows it. She is a very calm person, though also very alert. She is also a caring mother, and very devoted to her children and husband.
Weapons: A thin and curved silver sword / a golden-brown bow.
Horse: A cream-coloured steed named Galroch.

Fáreryniel stopped walking, her glance turning towards Aramel. She inclined her head politely. "Mae govannen," she replied evenly. Aramel did not look like a Lorien elf, on the contrary, perhaps she was from Rivendell.
