Post subject:  Dropped into the Real World LotR Style (Revamped)
So, I started this rp last year I believe. It went off alright, but died quickly due to the fact that I was a newb who didn't know what she was doing.

So, here's the deal: characters (Cannon and OC) have been unceremoniously dropped into a house with a few people from the real world. To make it more fun we are making it a college campus. The goal is to figure out why the characters were brought here and how to get them back without ripping apart worlds. I'd like to have more cannon characters than OCs. So if you join grab a cannon character first and add an OC. There will only be four real worlders to cut down on the confusion of entrance. Just tell me who you are using, give me a short bio if it's an OC and then we'll start once everything fills up.

Another note: I would like this rp to be more for older rpers, even though it is fun. So, use description, no one liners. Most posts should be over a paragraph, a good rule is to fill in the quick reply box at minimum. It keeps the rp from being to fast and too boring.

*Waves hand* Ooh I want to join :lol: This looks fun! I'll take Eowyn as a canon character, and I'll throw in Goldleaf as an OC. I've shortened her bio somewhat :lol:

Name: Goldleaf
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Gondorian

Personality: Kind-hearted, determined and intelligent. Slightly stubborn. Trained with a blade.
History: Originally from Osgiliath. She had a romance with Boromir of Gondor two years before his death, that ended in heartbreak; too much stood in their way for them to be together. The day after their goodbye, there was an attack on Osgiliath, and Goldleaf was forced to flee - having nothing and no one to go back to, she spent two years in the wild in the woods of Ithilien, living as a vagabond.
Eventually, hearing of Boromir's death, Goldleaf set off to Minas Tirith to fight in the war, hoping to avenge him, even if it meant her own death. She fought bravely in the siege and thereafter, when the war of the Ring ended, she lived peacefully but alone in Gondor.

Personality: She's a very kind soul, but she can be very stubborn when it comes to certain situations. She also very well-trained with bow and arrows.
History: Amara was born to Faelm and Analie twenty-five years ago; the day that her parents found sacred. She inherited more of her mother's looks, by not getting the pointed ears such as her father's, but she definitely had the skills of an elf. Her accuracy and agility were that of an elfs; precise and swift. Amara came of age and her looks stopped, making her appear the age that she was forever. But, a few years after this happened, grief struck Amara's heart when both of her parents were murdered from an Orc. She was infuriated and planned to seek her revenge on Saruman. This is what she seeked.

(As you can tell, I would love to be a character from LOTR. :D)

Nope. Just a name. So glad to see you here! I squealed when I saw your name. And all the real worlders live in the same house. Btw, so your guy is lonesome. But college kids are poor so...it's not too far of a stretch to think I guy would rent out a house with some chicks if it was cheap enough.
