Amara nodded to what Hareth had said to her and then listened to his and Eruraina speak to each other. She bit her lip as he spoke of Legolas and Thranduil, looking down to her feet. She knew what needed to be done here. Word needed to spread that Mirkwood was in danger. King Aragorn needed to know. "Hareth... I will go and send word to King Aragorn... If King Legolas needs me to. I will lay down my life for his Majesty and this land. It is my civil duty." She said softly and the pointed to Eruraina. "Maybe, she could escort me out of here." She added softly.

The most promising thing for Amara was death, at this point in time. But, she was a strong warrior and very proud of her home. She would do anything to keep it from falling. And so, she would find Aragorn.

Hareth shook his head. "No. It's suicide to try." he said firmly. "And King Legloas would say the same thing."

Amara looked to Hareth firmly and stood her ground. "And it is not suicide to stay here and fight without help? You know that we need King Aragorn, Hareth. If I die along the way, then so be it. At least I died trying. And I died honoring our land and King." She said softly, but with complete emotion behind her words.

Taking a deep breath, Amara rested her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Tell King Legolas that we WILL have help." She said softly and then hurried to her horse, hoping onto its back swiftly and gracefully, before whistling and having it gallop away. She wouldn't just stand around and wait to be slaughtered by Orcs.

Gimli raised a shaggy eyebrow at the elf king's words.
"Legolas, I think you need reminded of what happened during the War of the Ring. At the Council of Elrond, there was a task set that by all rights was impossible. No one wanted to do it, but in the end one was willing. One that no one thought would succeed because of his size. Yet there was hope in the fact that he was willing to go to certain doom, enough hope that spurred eight companions to join him. Not all made it through, and not all stayed with him till the end. You would rather watch your kingdom slowly chip away little by little as we loose more elves every day? Then give them hope of finding the reason why they are dying and the possibility of beating that cause?
"But Legolas, do not command someone to take on this quest, ask for those who would want to take it. Lord Elrond did not tell anyone to go to Mordor with the Ring, he asked for one who would be willing to. I know I would, but being a dwarf I wouldn't be a good choice, I hate to admit. But if I am willing, surely there is another willing."

Eruraina caught some more of what was going on from the interaction between Hareth and Amara. She frowned in thought.
So, I have found myself in Mirkwood as it is under siege from an unknown adversary. Then an idea came to her, as Hareth was stil near.
"I can go and find what it is. I am a skilled tracker and hunter, I may be able to sneak through the nets, maybe make my way to Dul Goldur where one would guess the trouble is coming from. And no one here can command me otherwise for I am not of Mirkwood, but of Imladris. I would just ask for allowance of at least one companion to help, if the king would allow such a thing. Lord Hareth, is it possible I could gain an audience with the king?"

Legloas sighed. "You are right, Gimli. Again." The Elvenking stood up. "And that shall be the plan of action I shall take."

"I can get you an audience with the king. Beyond that, I can promise you nothing." Hareth said. "But, I will say I am greatful for your offer."

Amara rode hard through the woods of Mirkwood on her horse. She held onto the reins tightly and stared ahead; focusing on her goal before her. To find King Aragorn. She had a long journey ahead of her, but she was going to make sure that she saw it through.

Passing her kingdom's boundaries, she stopped her horse and looked back at the land. She swallowed hard and bit her lower lip, before shaking her head and looking ahead again. She couldn't look back until her mission was done. Even though she was alone for it, she would make her King and her kingdom proud. They needed her and with King Legolas injured, he wouldn't be able to get to Aragorn.

It was all on her now.

Personality: Good and kind. A smart she-elf who is not afraid to fight for what she believes in. She acts like a lady but posses great skills with a bow and a sword.

History: The only child of her parents, she was raised with great love and care. Taught by her father not only great wisdom but also warrior skills and her mother taught her how to be lady like but both of her parents taught her how to fight for what she think was right and to always follow her heart. She has wavy slighty reddish-brown hair which she got from her Father. She is a dear friend of Arwen as she used to visit Rivendell with her father (a dear friend of Elrond) as a child. She also grew up around the royal family of Mirkwood as her mother was a lady-in-waiting of the Queen who grew fond of her because of her naive views in life when she was a child.

Aranel was riding her white stallion galloping from the war field, her reddish brown hair flowing like the river as the wind blows on her face. She went to aid his father who was hurt and helped aid the other soldiers as well. She was on her way back to palace to give a report to his highness the new King Legolas about the wounded soldiers and the need for more medical supplies as she saw the queen looking back at Mirkwood.

A friend of the Queen she went to her, "Your Majesty", she said as she stopped her horse and bowed down to her. "May i ask what is her Majesty doing in the borders of our Kingdom?... it is not safe out here", she worriedly said as she was trying to make her horse still.

Hareth led Eruraina to the king. He knew that Legolas was talking to Gimli right now, and that he would likely not like to be interuppted. But that was a chance that Hareth would have to take.

When they entered the cavern where Legolas was speaking to Gimli, Eruraina didn't wait for Hareth to announce her. Instead she went right up to them and bowed in the elves' custom.
"I am Eruraina Ruindoleth of Imladris. I was riding through when I happened upon the battle and was informed of the situation here. I am sorry for your loss, King Legolas, for it surely is great. I will also get straight to the point. I would like to lead an excavation to Dul Goldur in an attempt to find the cause of these battles. I am aware of the risks, but am willing to volunteer anyway."

Amara rode as fast and hard as she could out of Mirkwood. She knew that it would take over a week to get to King Aragorn in Gondor. But, there would be friends that she could visit and gather supplies from in various towns along the way. As long as she could get to Gondor and fast. Aragorn needed to know of what was happening in Mirkwood.

Holding tightly onto the reins, Amara kept a watchful eye on her surroundings. She needed to make sure that there were no Orcs in the vicinity. She would be able to take care of herself, but she didn't want to take the chance of being taken by surprise.
