Eldaria sighed and ducked behind a stone as her brothers went past. Then she ran off to her room and packed a bag. Running down to the pantry she was grabbing some Lembas bread when Arwen caught her."What on earth are you doing Eldaria?"Arwen inquired. Turning away from Arwen, Eldaria said,"I was thinking about going on an adventure."She turned to Arwen."Don't tell on me, please! I will return, I just want to visit Nostariel in Lothlorien. I will be safe, please?" Arwen frowned."Alright, go ahead, I won't tell, but you must stay out of trouble, do you promise?" Eldaria agreed and took her Lembas bread to her room and continued packing.

Nostariel threw her bow, extra clothes, and some provisions into her pack. Suddenly she heard someone coming. Oh no! she thought, and quickly hid her pack just as her brother entered the room. "Hi," she said a bright and slightly bored tone (her usual tone) trying to convince him that nothing was up. He looked at her strangely, but moved on.

Wondering what her parents would think, Eldaria left a note saying that she was fine and they didn't need to worry about her. Then she grabbed her pack and went to get her horse."Eldaria!" Erestia's tone was urgent."Yes mother?" Answered Eldaria dutifully."Where are you going?" 'Oh, dear!'Eldaria thought.'I don't want to lie!' "Oh, mother I was just going for a long ride. Is that okay?" Erestia gave her daughter an unbelieving look, but allowed her to go."I love you mother!" Called Eldaria, and she rode hastily towards Lothlorien.

Two days later, Nostariel was riding out of Lothlorien, barely a mile away, she bumped into a girl on a horse. "Oh... mae govannen!" She greeted the girl with a puzzled smile. "Who are you? Where are you headed?"

Meanwhile, Ithilwen had heard of dwarves passing in Mirkwood. Perfect for adventure. She set her mind to find them, and come along with them. She quickly packed some extra clothes and her bow and quiver, just in case. Just then she heard footsteps in the hallway. She tried to hide her pack, but it was too late. Legolas had spotted her. He raised his eyebrows. "Trying to catch some dwarves, Ithilwen?" he asked in an amused voice. Ithilwen tried to find an excuse, but Legolas never failed to read her mind. There was a long silence, but her brother finally broke it when he said,"I'm going on a patrol to get them, see what they're doing. Would you like to come with me?" Ithilwen did not speak but ran and hugged her older brother.
