"We don't need to PRETEND, we can always tell them, you know. I just don't want Boromir to die. Or get obsessed with the Ring. I'm goign to blame myself if I let that happen," Kiara said quietly. Boromir had always been one of her favourite characters and she didn't want to let him die. Not if she could help it. But there was a nagging feeling that it was fate and it HAD to happen. |

Thanks, Torziel! Laura glanced at the council. While she and Kiara were talking, something caused the counci to start arguing. A voice broke through the argument. "I will do it. I will take the ring to Mordor...though i do not know the way." Gandalf closed his eyes for a moment. "I will help you bear this burden as long as it is yours to bear Frodo Baggins." Aragorn came forward and knelt before Frodo. "If by life or death i can protect you, i will. You have my sword." Legolas strode forward."And you have my bow." Gimli grins and fingers his axe." And my axe." Boromir walkes forward slowly. "You carry the fate of it all, little one. It this is indeed the will of the council, then Gondor will see it done." Sam runs forward."Mr. Frodo's not going anywhere without me!" Elrond shakes his head. "No, indeed since it is hardly possible to separate you, even when he is summoned to a secret council and you are not." Merry and Pippin run in."Wait, we're coming too! You'll have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us! Anyway you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission, quest thing. Well that rules you out, Pip!" "Nine companions...so be it...you shall be the fellowship of the Ring.!" Pippin smirks and says, "great, where are we going?" Please take over, Torziel! |

Elaine watched from the sides quietly and the ghost of a smile played across her lips though she knew the grim peril of this task. She scooted closer to Laura and whispered," Do we aim to join them, or no?" |

"Of course!" Laura jumped up. She walked over to Elrond and said, "my comrades and i would like to travel with the fellowship." Elrond distractedly nodded. "Very well!" Laura grinned, then looked nervously at Elaine. "What now?" |

"I almost want to go home now, or at least make sure i will get home. But then, it would be so cool to witness amazing things in Middle-Earth history." Laura sighed. She slowly walked out of the council room, unsure ofwhat to do next. |
