Kiara rode silently up to the gate, the gaurds did not see her dismount or see her horse return the way they had come. looking up towards the gaurds she threw a rock to get their attention. "What do you want?" they shouted back at her, aggrivated. She did not answer. "I said-" but she silenced them with a wave of her arm. She motioned for the gates to open. they looked at eachother. "Go get someone." one said to the other and he ran off.
Kiara stood patiently, waiting for him to return.

I got up and followed Thara, when I saw her leading me back to the elf child's room I stopped and said "I can't go back in there! I have made a fool out of myself! Please let me wait until the gentleman and the elf have left." I looked at her with pleading eyes. She said understandingly "I know you don't want to, but there is a child in there who needs you."
I nodded my head and followed her in, I didn't look either the elf or the handsome guard in the eyes, I just walked over to the bed and sat down in a chair beside it, took a rag and began to wipe the child's face with it...

The gaurd returned, and with him was a higher ranked officer. "Speak your buisness!!" he shouted. Kiara said not a word, but motioned then to open the gates. "We shall throw you in a dungeon for your insolence! Speak!!" She still refused. he motioned for the gate to open. it did, and she walked proudly in, but was forayed by more gaurds. "you wish yourself a stint in the cell eh?" he spat at her feet. "Take the rouge to the prision, till she speaks" Kiara fought hard, and more came to take her.

Dionysus nodded and looked at the child.
"I see, Will you be taking this elf child back with you?"

"I ment are you going to take this child back to where you came from or is she to stay here with Lord Aragorn?"

"It is her choice..I will be here, until Lord Elessar perishes, and when he does, it is up to her if she wants to go or stay."

He looked at the elf with a raised brow.
"I think it would be best for her to stay here. Under the protection of our king and my kinsmen. She obviously was hurt while with your kin, which shows your lack of emotion and care for your children."

She looked sharpyly at the man. "What do you mean by that?!"

He folded his arms and frowned at the elf.
"Well a human child would never be let to die like this. Where are this elf's parents?!"

I saw the child wince as Dionysus spoke, then a tear rolled down her cheek. I turned to him and said "Please I beg you do not speak so! Can't you see it upsets the child? And you my lady, you have not even spoken to the child. Will you both stop arguing or whatever it is you are doing and see to the child's comfort? She is our most important concern at the moment!" I turned back to the elven girl and wiped away her tears...

Dionysus nodded solemly and appologiesed. He turned and looked at the elf and nodded to the door.
"I think you should leave with me and continue this outside."
He walked to the door and held an arm out to try and usher the elf out.

She looked at the man, and took his arm.

The guard walked outside with elf and closed the door.
"Well, tell me do you know of the child's parents?"

I sighed as I watched the lady elf and the handsome guard leave. Then I turned to the child and said "Now go back to sleep, darling, you must get better. And when you are well I will take you to meet the King and Queen" I smiled warmly at her and sat by her until she drifted off to sleep.
When she was sleeping I got up and walked out. I bumped into Thara who said "Ai, Young One, Don't worry yourself, the child will be fine." I smiled at her she always knew what to say to cheer me up. Out of sheer impulse I hugged the older healer she seemed to understand then walked away to attend to her duties. I walked down the corridor and heard the elf lady and Dionysus talking. I walked past them, giving the guard a reassuring glance as I passed....
