Here we go, I'm trying something new and getting out of my elvish comfort zone!
This rp is set in the far eastern country of Khand (yes it exists, look at the map in the front of the books, and look to the southeast of Mordor!)
Being so close to Mordor Khand has long been under Sauron's control, but unwillingly. Their leader decided to join Sauron to preserve his people. Now that Sauron has been destroyed and defeated once and for all, the people are trying to go back to the old ways of life.These are their stories. Anyone is welcome and if you have problems figuring out a name just use something Quenya, since the people of Khand are connected with Numeanor. Here's my new charry.

Brief History: Has lived all her life in Khand, is close friends with the King's daughter. Is going with a group of Kandin's to make a peace treaty with Gondor and Rohan.

Someone can play any of Atan's family members, the King or the king's children!
It would be nice to have a love interest for Atanince.

Atanince paced the floor in anticipation, her pure black stallion was saddled and packed outside, now all that was missing were her companions. She waited anxiously for them to arrive.

Brief History: After many years of searching for her true origin and discovering it, she has decided to travel across Middle-Earth and learn of new cultures. After traveling across the ruins of Mordor, she has stumbled across an interesting kingdom called 'Khand'.

Laitorne crept along the riverbank, studing the wildlife and nature. She was deciding if she should stay longer or carry on traveling. After a lot for research, she had found out facts that they used to depended on Sauron or something along those lines. And now that Sauron was 'gone', they had to cope and rebuild their comunity. She heared mild footsteps of pacing feet near by, and she halted instantly.

appearance: Wavy black hair that is usually loose, fair skin and dark hazel eyes. far skinned. she usually wears blue dresses, since she adores teh color blue. she's abotu teh same heigth as her older sister.
family: Atanincë (who is her odler sister)
brief history: only a couple years younger then her sister, she is close to her, however her personality sometimes gets her in trouble. she was trained with a sword and knows how to weild it rather well. she will also go with the group to make a treaty.

appearance: straight ligth brown hair that reaches mid abck when braided, clsoer to ehr waist when it's unbraided. Vivid green eyes and a slender build as well as pale skin.
attire: basically what strider wore in FotR
weapons: a bow and a sword, as well as a few throwing daggers.
personality: stubborn, but still a friendly and kind person. Also is somewhat of a free-spirit
history: she lsot her parents when she was young, and until she was odl enough, she resided in teh house of Elrond. ocne Elrond let her, she went off and became an elven ranger. During ehr jounreys she met Elenanna and the two formed a bond, though i don't see each otehr too terribly often.

Atanince contiued pacing until Almarea came around the corner. "Almar! Good, you're here! Do you know who else is coming?"

(gah! *kicks self* i thought yours said eighteen. >.< *fixes it* there we go!)

Almarea smiled at her older sister then shrugged slightly. "I honestly have no clue, Atani..." Usually dressed in a blue dress, Almarea looked different today, since she was wearing a tunic and pants, both of which appeared to be black. She didt have her sword with her belted at teh waist, since she was trying to get used to wearing it.

Atanince looked her sister up and down and said "You do know this is a peaceful, diplomatic journey right?" pointing to the sword. She herself was wearing her blue and gold gown (in pic) with only a small dagger hidden in her skirts. She looked up as she heard footsteps and soon the King appeared followed by his daughter, Lothrin.
"Greetings, O King." Atani said curtseying low.

Almarea gave her sister a slightly exasperated look, "This is only for when we're traveling. I don't trust the roads." She then turned as well as the King and his daughter entered and she bowed instead of curtseying.

Morwen stepped into the room from another entrance, then slid into a shadow for the time being. she did not want to get herself killed, but she did need to get to know those she was going to be with whiel traveling back to Gondor.

Atanince nearly elbowed her sister for bowing instead of curtseying. But she contained herself as the King spoke. "Ah, Atanince and Alamarea. How wonderful it is that you, my most beloved friend's daughters are to make this diplomatic journey. But.. am I not mistaken that there is someone of importance missing? Is not your cousin Salarea to go with you?"
"Aye, O King," replied Atanince "She has not arrived yet. I understand your younger son, Tadion and your daughter Lothrin are to accompany us."
"Yes, for you know it wouldn't do for my eldest son and heir to go on such a perilous journey. But now I must leave you. May your travels be blessed with good roads." And without waiting for a reply he turned on his heal and strode back into the hall.
"Well, no that all that ceremony is over, how's about we find Salarea and Tadion and be off, eh?" Atanince smiled brightly.

Alamrea nodded, "sounds good...didn't that message from kign Elssar say he was sending some down to escort us as well?" "That would be me", Morwen said from her spot. Alamrea jumped.

Atanince jumped as well. Atani moved so that she could see where the voice was coming from. She saw a girl who was very beautiful inspite of her ragged clothing. Having never seen an elf before Atanince didn't know what this girl was. "If you are from King Elessar then you are welcome here. We must find two of our companions and then we can set off." Atanince said goodnaturedly, then added "Will you not take some food before we leave?"

Morwen smield and walked forward, "yes I was sent by King Elessar, but no i do not need to take food. I am morwen Durelen by teh way. she bwoed to teh two. Alamr looked at Atani, "I'm not the only female that bows..." Morwen grinned at Almar, "i'm allowed to. I'm an elven ranger." Alamr looked stunned.

"Elven? The elves truly exist? In Khand they come into our stories but rarely and usually bring doom with them." Atanince slightly recoiled from the elf. Then Lothrin stepped forward saying "I am Lothrin daughter of the King, these are my friends and companions, Atanince and her sister Almarea." Atanince curtseyed slightly.

Almar tried to curtsey and she failed. Morwen shook her head then looked at Atani. "Well whoever told you elves bring doom with them migth as well told you the sun rises in the west. The elves as a general rule only bring Doom on those who intend to bring Shadow with them. Elves are pure beings, if that's believeble", morwen said, tyring to find words. she then added, "such as the Dark lord Sauron."
