That's it... I gotta make an rp... lol... My first rp, so if it sucks, just tell me so and I'll ditch it ^^.

I'd like to use my character, Tahlavain. I like that character...

This can be after the reign of Sauron, and when a whisper of another evil is going about. Tahlavain is on a quest to find out who she really is, and how she came to Rivendell as an elf child, possesing her strange sword, Corasar, meaning Legend-Seeker. She indeed seeks a legend, for rumor was heard that her sword held the power of the Valar, and if in the wrong hands, would prove disasterous for many. On her quest, she ended up having several shady characters pick up her trail, as well as meeting many new friends, and that is were you, my fellow rp'ers come in... hope it's a good rp! ^^ Good guys and bad guys both welcome!

Name: Tahlavain Aeronna
Translation: Blade-spirit, law/order-keeper

Race: Elf

Age: relatively young at the age of 975

Skills: She is excellent in swordsmanship, and a champion in archery. She also knows how to hold her own when weapons are lacking.

Appearance: Dark, nearly black hair, and crystalline blue eyes, with a fair face. She usually wears light forest clothes, of elven design, but she occasionally wears elven dresses with silver lined cloaks. Always wears a cloak.

Lineage: Unknown.

Weapons: Elven long daggers, elegant bow which she herself made, and a strangely designed sword, akin to an elven design, but straighter and with a pale blue blade matching her eyes, inset with several small blue gems. It also had a deep blue hilt with silver vine designs and a large grey stone set deeply in the end of the hilt. The sword was named Corasar, Legend-Seeker.

History: Tahlavain was found as a young elf child, outside the gates of Rivendell. None knew how she came to be there, but they noticed something strange in the child as soon as she was taken in, a sort of air about her. They named her Tahlavain, meaning Blade-Spirit, for she carried, or more so dragged, a strangly designed sword when she first came, and had appeared as though she were a spirit, for no one had seen her come. She was intelligent, and strong minded, and would often be found burying herself in books of ancient texts.

When she was a bit older, she was watching the training of elven archers, and insisted on taking up a bow. Tahlavain became well known for her surpassing skill in the bow, at the young age of 16, just a mere child in elf years. But that wasn't enough. She insisted on learning the skill of both elven and broad blade. Becoming well learned in the art of combat, she would often be found sparring with older elves, masters of the art, but was never satisfied with her own skill and longed to be tested in true combat.

Her chance came when she was in her early hundreds, as she was visiting an outer village, a horde of orcs attacked suddenly with no warning. She had with her the same strange blade she had been found with as a child, which she had named Corasar, meaning Legend-Seeker. The elves accompanying her claimed they saw a strange glow in her eyes and the sword, and her fighting was unmatched, as though the spirit of some great warrior had entered the young elf maiden and controled her precise movements. Tahlavain denied this, and insisted she had not fought any better than the rest of them, and managed to convince the Elders that she deserved no praise.

Several times in the coming years the same thing was stated, but she would shrug it off. She was uncomfortable with the way the elves of Rivendell looked at her with such overwhelming respect while she went about her daily events. Tahlavain found it hard to get along with such praise that had been going about, so she did her best to avoid public battle encounters, but would often go out on her own to seek the thrill of combat. For such renowned efforts in keeping peace and providing defense and protection in several villages, she was given a second name, Aeronna, meaning Law/Order-Keeper.

-------------------

Tahlavain ended yet another day of weary traveling. She sat at the edge of a stream, bowing her head, her hand on the hilt of her sword, Corasar. She was worn from walking all day, and she wondered why. She was an elf, wasn't she? Or was she? That's what she was going to find out. "Not too long before I reach Gondor... " she mumbled to herself. She was told there were documents there, perhaps telling the history of her sword. She thanked the Valar that she had studied several langauges when she was young. There was bound to be plenty of reading to do, as long as nothing stopped her between here and there. but I have the feeling I'm being tracked.... the open road is too obvious... and if the rumored shadow proved to be true, I better keep an eye out

((Hope that starts things ^^))

*Sen rode down the road, Flarenath moving faster than should be possible for a horse, keeping to the shadows. He didn't have a lot of time; he must make it to Minas Tirith in time. He had seen Maleon, and he was not far off. He would be in Middle Earth within the week...*

Tahlavain got to her feet quickly, hearing the sound of approaching hooves. Lately she had been followed, and lastnight she had been attacked by a cloaked stranger. She held her hand on the hilt of Corasar, looking in the direction of the sound. Whoever it was, they had a horse that traveled fast.

Deawen kept close to her horse as the icy wind sliced through the world around her. Deawen's face was hidden by her cloak she heard a noise behind her it sounded like horses hoof beat she turned and sure enough in the distance she saw a rider. the horse was moving faster than a normal horse...Deawen stopped and waited to see who this rider was.

Tahlavain's attention turned to a second set of hoof sounds. She didn't like this, there were too many who traveled this way. Slipping behind a tree, she waited to see if they would pass. The one going faster than a normal horse was the one that worried her, then she heard the other stop. She waited...

Deawen was no elf she was just a simple Human. but she guessed she was not alone but she was the person to seek only defend. since she recognised the horse's hoof beats, she released the hilt of her sword. Deawen waited he old friend seemed to be in a great haste

*There was a rush of wind down the path, and suddenly the horse and rider was on the path, and was fading down the road. Sen saw a stream, and halted Flarenath by it, a ways away from where Tahlavain was hiding. He stooped to drink, and Flarenath followed suit. He had noticed the lady hiding in the trees, but thought nothing of it at the moment. His message must spread, after all; Gandalf had also said that he would meet up with him in Rohan, though he knew not where or when...*

Tahlavain watched and waited, then took a step back as the horse rushed by and came to a stop at the stream. She eyed the rider and stepped into the open again, quessing he was only there for a drink and not to track her. But she remained cautious, her hand on her sword hilt. what could be his haste in such calm times... perhaps the rumor of a shadow is truer than I thought at first... "Greetings traveller, what might be your haste on such a casual road?" she questioned, her ice blue eyes eyeing the stranger and his horse up and down.
