 This is a post about , you guessed right, Gondolin. It's basically all the eventsthat happened in its history. If nobody else minds, I would like to play the part of King Turgon, High King of the Nolfor after the death of Fingolfin.

(Lovely, she's my favorite female Elf, you know. Good choice, Deawen! Though, of course, someone else will have to be Tuor... Oh! I know! How about Sen Starfire?)
Turgon had followed Ulmo's instructions. He had left the armour and sword, and now his city was built. He started to bring small groups of his people there. He first brought his daughter, Idril. She had told him that her mother would have loved his new city. When she had said this, a tight knot welled in his throat. His wife had perished on the Helcaraxe after Feanor had betrayed them.

(Deawen, I've already brought Idril to Gondolin; so you do'n't need to wait for me.)

Race: Noldor, Calaquendi
Weapons: A slender elven sword and a bow of the Galadhrim
Appearance: Height: 6'4", usually wears greens, grays and blues
Background: Went to Valinor with the rest of the Noldor but came back with Feanor, soon saw the madness in following him and became loyal to Fingolfin. Is now living in Gondolin as a lady-in-waiting to Idril.
~~~~~~~~~
Devainhel kept an eye on her lady, Idril. The journey had been perilous and they had lost several gaurds to get Lady Idril there safely.
I don't plan on joining, but I thought I'd point out that while Laurelindorenan was in existance at the time, though it was a weak kingdom, I don't think there was much commerce between it and Gondolin - besides...the elves of Ossiriand would make better bows than the Galadhrim. ^_^
I'm not trying to be picky or annoying or anything, I just have a habit of pointing out things like that.
(Don't worry, Aerandir, I pop in in out of posts all the time. Actually, I was going to point out that the Galadhrim did not exist at this time. Indeed, I was under the impression that Laurelindorenan did not exist at all until the Second Age.)
