Esmerelda had been sitting near Faramir the whole time, not saying anything. She sighed and watched his skin color grow dimmer. "The more we keep him here, the less of a chance he has of surviving." She looked to Pippin.

"Esmerelda's right. We have to leave. Right now. But we have no way..."
All of a sudden Sam paused. His eyes sparkled, as if a candle was lit in his mind and suddenly ideas were exposed.
Sam laughed, half nervously, half with relief.
"Why didn't I think of poor old Bill in the first place? He's at the stables. He could speed the journey up... but only one of us would be able to go with him and Faramir. Yes, I know he's old, but he still has enough spirit and energy to get to Rivendell. Now... who's the fastest rider?"

Merry had an idea also. "Faramir has a horse also, Strider. Got him from Frodo. We can double up or something."
Faramir groanded as he twisted his body a little, and opend his eyes slightly, having a bady thirst.

"OK. Someone has to leave with Faramir as soon as possible on his horse. Merry... do you remember how to ride a horse? Pippin? What about you, Esmerelda... can you ride?"
Sam looked to Faramir, who was looking pale and grey. His eyes were slightly open. "Faramir, you'll be fine, I promise."

Esmerelda looked to Sam and nodded. "Yes. I know how to ride. And I know of a healer in Rivendell. My parents are close friends with him." She sighed and slowly stood up.

The lights and twinkling in Sam's eyes grew as he heard all this, yet his face was full of anxiety and exhastion.
"We only have one choice, really... Esmerelda, go. Ride as fast as you can. And don't worry about us. We know the way."

Esmerelda quickly nodded and helped Faramir up off the bed. She wrapped her arms around him, as she walked towards the stables, where Bill the Pony was. She tried getting there fast.

Pippin walked over to his son and layed a hand on Faramir's forehead. His eyes looked sad as he looked over him. "Faramir, we are going to take you to Rivendell...we'll take care of you."

Faramir gased up in his father's eyes, saying 'not to worry.'
He helped Es as much as he can, to the stables. But at times though he felt he just wanted to colabse over, but he know he cant.
Merry watched as they left. "Shall we pack anything?"

Esmerelda set him atop of Bill the Pony and then jumped up behind him. She held onto his tightly and then onto the reigns. She clicked her tongue, to get Bill moving. She looked down to Pippin and smiled a little. "Everything will be alright. Keep hope." She nodded and then had Bill ride off into the distance.

(Hey..is Pippin going to ride his own pony or can he borrow one of Merry's or Sam's?)

(Well Pippin can take Strider (Faramir's), Merry has a few horses, that Him and Sam can ride, I dunno..)

"Gather what we need Merry, I'm going after Es.." He glanced up at the Strider, Merry's small pony and patted it's back before mounting it. He leaned forward and took hold of the reins. He glanced down at Merry once more with worried eyes then looked ahead of him again and gestured for the pony to take a trot.
