I understand there are no "powers" allowed, so my character will refrain from healing and other magics...are potions, magical items, and other such stuff allowed?

Basic information

Race: Man
Age: 40's
Appearance: Red eyes, white hair
Weapons: Dwarven sword (enchanted or not, depending on rules), elven bow, staff
Other Information: Has dealt with Easterlings before, though never traveled far enough south to see a desert. Prefers the Inland Sea. May prove valuable as a scout...

OOC-Allright, lets start.

In the afternoon, Minas Tirith was a busy city. Women were purchasing the necessitites for their families, men were talking to their friends, and were drinking in taverns, and shouts of young children as they played with whatever they could were heard. The few priviliged, and older children were doing their lessons for the day. The city of Minas Tirith had seemingly completly recovered from the events that had occured slightly over fourty years ago.

The uppermost ring of Minas Tirith, where the palace of King Elessar resided, was busy as well. Servants were cleaning it, keeping it tidy, the peasant's plea was heard by a few of the King's advisors, and they were answered. One of the larger rooms in the palace was being prepared for a meeting that would take place the next day.

The wings where the residents of the palace abided were silent, especially in the west wing, in which the quarter was where Elenanna Lothenedhel and her husband, Voronwe Orophion resided. Elenanna stood up off the bed, looking at the letter once again, and she spoke, using the language of the elves. "Vorwonwe, I worry for our children. Seeing as the two of us are well known nobles of Middle Earth, this fact may provoke them to injure our children worse...or worse."

Voronwe sighed. "Elenanna, worrying about it will not aid the fact that our children are in the hands of those who aided Sauron."

"I know, but you know that I cannot stop worrying until I am assured they are safe." She said, looking at him, her silver eyes full of worry. His blue eyes met hers, and he stood up. "Elenanna. We'll get them back, safe and sound."

"I wish I knew that." She replied. before turning back to the window. Her elven sight aided her into seeing a caravan headed toward the city of Minas Tirith. She smiled when she saw the banner bearing the white horse of Rohan, signalling it was the group from Edoras.

((Okay! What is the group from Rohan doing?... ))

Tindomerel was in the palace, getting her daily talk with her sister, Queen Arwen. She only half listened, bobbing her head up and down, like she was listening to her sister's ever word. She was really looking out the window. "Are you even listening to me, Tindomerel?" asked Arwen, who had been saying something about the right way for a noble elf to act.
"Look!" said Tindomerel, pointing out the window, "A group from Rohan."
"What are you talking about...?"asked Arwen, walking over to the window in a lady-like glide.
Arwen saw the group. "I'll go tell King Elessar," said Tindomerel, running out of the room, more than ready to get away from her sister.

Feawen rode with the group that came from Edoras. She still hadn't brought up the courage to tell her cousin Eomer who she really was. As far as all the people of Rohan knew, she was a dead princess. She rode, holding the flag of Rohan high.

Thilion guarded the doors to the entrance to Queen Arwen's room when an elf rushed out and ran straight into him. He looked down at her and smiled.
"Something wrong my lady?"

She suddenly ran into the guard who stood in front of the doors
"I'm fine," said Tindomerel, quickly standing up, brushing off her plain, light lavender gown, "I just need to find King Elessar and get away from my sister."
She stood up, looking nervously behind her. "Do you know where he is?" asked Tindomerel.

Thilion nodded and smiled.
"Would you like me to escort you to him? I can have another guard watch the queen's room."

"Um... thank you," said Tindomerel, wanting to get away quickly, finding this easier than him explaining, "You may escourt me then."

Thilion nodded and walked down the hallway towards the doors at the end, a guard stood there and nodded to Thilion.
"Guard the Queen's room until I return."
He nodded and quickly walked past them.
"Follow me."
He opened the door which led to another hallway with many doors. Thilion walked to the very last door on the left and opened it revealing the King's throne room.
He walked in front of the king who was talking to a counilor and bowed.
"My lord, the Queen's sister wishes to speak with you."

((Who should play the King? Because who ever does, they should know that Elessar and Tindomerel have known each other for a long time...))

((I'll just play him for a moment... we should stop so then Elenanna can catch up.))

Tindomerel followed the guard, trying to take small lady-like steps, but they turned into a mess. King Elessar looked up at the guard, then behind him to Tindomerel. "Of course," said King Elessar, nodding.
Tindomerel stepped foreward. "A group from Rohan is coming," she said, "I just thought you'd want to know..."
She smiled at her friend, who she had known since he was a child.

(Argh! My internet had an error, so this isn't as long as the first version would have been..)

Aedail yawned and tottered over to a chair, where he watched the citizens go about their work. With the restoration of peace to the land (at least temporarily), both men and women were quite willing to buy his wares.
He chuckled slightly and shook his head. Even as he sat observing a jewelry stand, he noticed a man slip an amulet up his sleeve. Frowning slightly, Aedail shoved past the thief, knocking him over. With an apology, the old man helped him to his feet, while removing the amulet secretly. Chuckling, he slipped over to the jewelry stand and carefully returned the piece to its place, making sure he hadn't been noticed. He had almost returned to his spot when he noticed a commotion and saw riders, obviously from Rohan, passing through the streets.
