Aren waited as the men got closer... he still was unable to tell if they had seen him and the others or not. But if they hadn't they soon would.

(Sorry i haven't posted!!! teachers r out 2 get me! lots of hw!! hehe)
Ainawen smiled to herself. She knew she could beat Aren. But she had been waiting forever. so she slowly crept out of her hiding place. Her plan was to find Aren, sneak up on him, & scare him. But she never got that chance.
Suddenly she was aware of 3 men, all dressed in black, & all walking straight towards.....her. She didn't think they had seen her, but they would in a minute. she looked around desperately for anywhere she could go. She had been hiding in a tree. If she climbed back up it, they would ehar her for sure.
Ainawen was a superb (sp?) fighter......when she had her weapons with her. But she never wore her sword, or carried her bow & arrows when she raced with Aren. The men got closer & closer....

Tanhil's ears perked, and saw the three men in black approching Ainawen. "Yoo-hoo Aren instead of talking why don't the three of us go save your sister?" she asked pointing her blade in Ainawen's direction.

Aren had seen his sister and was already moving to intercept the three men.
He went around the other two and snuck up in the trail to where the three men were comming.
"Aniwen hurry. Come on!" Aren called to his sister as he steppped infront of the men.

Ainawen didn't have to be told twice. She quickly stepped out of the way. If only she had her sword...

Aren stepped back.. backing away from the men. He dind't want to have to start a fight if he didn't have to.

Aren backed up slowly, making sure his sister kept behind him. The men kept comming though, seemingly emotionless.

In answer Rhan let her first arrow fly. It found its mark in the heart of one of the men- He crumpeled soundlessly. In an instant there was a second arrow on her bow.
Sensing something was wrong the others whirled around and glared at the dead body of their comrade.
