So I have noticed I do not know much about the first age since I have not read the Sil yet... so this can just be an RP about the age of elves ...

So I have decided just to make this a non-cannon rp since it will be easier to go off of non-Tolkien characters to make the RP easier.

History: Estelwen was born in Gondolin to a young maiden and one of Gondolin's faithful guards. They both died of a strange illness when she was but a child. Glorfindel of the House of the Golden Flower took her in until she was old enough to live on her own. She then was later adopted by two local people of Gondolin, Mythelanin and Maedhril who have watched over her ever since. She is both cunning and wise and as she grew up she was taught in the ways of war from Glorfindel and other warriors. She later found out that she had relations to the king of Gondolin.

Background: Teledhelion was born in Ossiriand, where his father abode with a few of his kindred. Raised in the woodland, and yet with Noldorin upbringing, too, he has the woodland skill of the Laiquendi, unparalled by any other race, and the strength and skill-in-arms(close combat, mind you) of the Noldorin, again, unparalleld by any of the others. For years, now, he has been wandering the lands of Beleriand, doing what he can to destroy Morgoth's hold on Middle-earth.

Will be going to London on March of the 30th

Lord of the Gondor, the only Minas Tirith of the First Age was an Elven tower, ruled by Orodreth, the brother of Finrod Felagund. It was on an island in the middle of the river Sirion, and was later captured by Sauron, who converted it to a tower of his own evil purposes. Just letting you know, in case you were associating it with the Minas Tirith of the Second and Third Ages.

Pandora, is it really practical to have Gondolindrim characters like Glorfindel, Ecthelion, and Turgon? After all, the only time those three left Gondolin was a) Glorfindel, Ecthelion, and Egalmoth left the city guarding Aredhel b) Glorfindel, Ecthelion, and Turgon led the hosts of Gondolin to the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. I mean, they're awesome, but they never left Gondolin really, so the only way they'd get to do anything would be in the Fall of Gondolin, in which case they both die. Of course, if this is un-canonical, I'll play Ecthelion, since he's one of the coolest characters listed.

I`m sorry, but there are just too serious historical mistakes... All these characters cant be in the same RPG... Some of them died before others were born... And Elrond`s sons were born in the Third Age! But the idea altogether is good. I will join.

I think it would work better if it was fictional characters, because I really hate being uncanonical and changing Tolkien's stories by playing characters he thought up and then changing what they did....

And I have an awesome, original character of my own for situations like this....^_^

Estelwen stood outside her small home on the edge of Gondolin. She had just finished her schooling for the day, the usual reading and writing, and had decided to get some fresh air. Estelwen looked up to the sky and frowned. Somehow the sky did not seem normal today, but then it might just be her thoughts clouding her mind. She decided to walk to think, her feet took her towards the sparring grounds of Gondolin. "Maybe ridding myself of some pent-up energy will help" She said to herself.

Aerith looked out over Lindon, where she grew up. She felt a slight resentment, because she had been cooped up by her father, Gil-Galad, because she was getting ready to learn about how to be a ruler in the Noldor Royal Family. She sighed and led her horse to the seashore.

Estelwen spent the afternoon sparring and felt a great weight lifted off her shoulder. Ever since she was old enough to hold a sword, fighting had been her safe-haven, her place to go when nothing made sense. She was quite a fighter for she had learned from the greatest warriors of Gondolin, including Glorfindel himself. Glorfindel was a big part of her life, after her parents death he had taken her in and raised her until she was adopted my Mythelanin.

It was only later that she learned she was a close relation to Turgon, King of Gondolin. She resented him at first for not telling her about this, but soon found out that Turgon was not only a great leader but a great person. Estelwen thought about this and other aspects of herself on her walk home.
