After several moments of glancing over Dernhelms shoulder at her friend, she gently pushed him back again. "I'm sorry... I cant .. Meleth, good evening."

Meleth wasn't sure how to reply. Her face colored brilliantly and she took an extremely uncertain step forward. "I - er - I'm sorry if I interrupted something," she said hesitantly.

The elf's face remained strangely pale as she regarded her fellow with uncertainty. She vibrant gaze flicked between her and the human, and she played for time, pulling more dirt out of her hair.
"Where were you? I was worried."

Meleth grinned a little, unexpectedly. "Were you?" she said lightly, regaining her composure. "Funny, I thought you might have been, er - busy." The last word was said with a slightly suggestive inclination in Meleth's voice.

Rhavaniel smiled as if she had overheard it,"No, not at all... I am never to busy for a friend." she smiled calmly.
"Maybe you would want to talk about the... Buisness I was indulging in?" On eyebrow arched , the darkness matching that of her silky locks.

Meleth folded her ams and leaned against the tree, raising an eyebrow. "Only if you feel an inclination to," she said delicately. "I wouldn't want to intrude."

"My friend; As before- You are not intruding. I am concerned about your reaction." she said silkily, eyes seeming to shade themselves a little darker.

Meleth looked surprised. "You need not be," she said. "Though I cannot lie, I am rather curious as to how you are suddenly so - friendly - with Dernhelm, when a few hours ago you seemed to have a rather potent dislike for him."

This time the seemingly marble-like complexion of the elf did colour, in fact it flushed a rather delicate shade of pink.
"Perhaps then, you would indulge me in your sudden distrust of yours truly? Wjhom you trusted untill a few moments agao?"

Meleth looked a little surprised. "Did I imply any distrust? I apologise, that was not my intent." She sat down near the fire, slender limbs folding gracefully under her like a cat. "I was merely expressing my curiousity. You may kiss who you like and I will still trust you."

Dernhelm sat outside smoking. She was toying with him the elf...she was just...he couldnt finish he lay ther and took a deep breath. After his first elf wife he didn't want another and that was final.

"Good." Rhan replied, as if that settled the matter. She returned her attention to her surroundings, standing in a swift movement.

Meleth' eyebrows flicked up and down but she made no movement or sound, though she was intrigued and resolved to ask Dernhelm a few innocent questions.

The elf smiled at her, determined in a way of feelings towards her- or in other words, determined to still have her in her goodbooks.
She strolled out into the woods, picking up her weapons as she passed them.
"I will be back before nightfall..." her sleek head turned briskly "Stay here...," with a slight condecending tone she added "And try not to do anything stupid..."
With that she was gone, a shadow in the shadows.
