Kith glanced up as he heard his name. Picking up his egg, he studied it intently, like he had so many times before. The egg itself was perfectly smooth and flawless, with nary a chip or crack despite the rough handling it had endured. The egg shone a dull gold, the exact pale orange color of desert dunes. It seemed to Kith that it was made of sand, congealed into an egg, and that if he squinted at it just right, or caught a glance at it out of the corner of his eye, it seemed that he was actually looking into the desert. He could feel the scorching heat radiating from the egg, like a desert sun. It wasn't so much a physical feeling as it was a mental one, akin to a sudden memory brought to the surface. He gently placed the egg on the ground, and Nienna tucked it under her wing. "Is this irony," He thought, that I should be reminded of that which I do not want to remember?

((I may not be able to post for awhile. Finals are literally draining my life. If I never come back, please know that it wasn't intentional, but that I was probably murded by calculus.))

Lissa inspected her egg curiously as Ryka watched from her shoulder.


You're getting Heavy.

Oh...Sorry... Ryka leapt of her shoulder, shaking himself to his proper size, Silver is a nice color for an egg...We are lucky to able to protect such a beautiful one.


Lissa blinked curiously, A moment ago you were reluctant to do this job... That was a moment ago. Her pheonix snapped.

This may actually be fun. She replied. Ryka sat on his haunches,Protecting things may be harder than it looks. Lissa stayed silent, murmuring, "Yeah...that too..."

Keira picked up the gold egg. It felt familiar in her hands. She turned to the tall black horse that had wandered up to her.
"Hm, Ex. We are back with this one." She murmered. Keira smiled and placed the egg gently in her saddle bag.
Keira and Ex wandered over to where Lissa was sitting.

"It's rough, protecting these. But it's well worth it." Keira said gently settling herself near Lissa.

She too then put her egg away, "I'm Lissa by the way. What's your name?"

"I'm Keira," she smiled and extended her hand.

Lissa stayed silent, uneasiness growing inside her. To break the silence, she pointed to her Pheonix, "This is Ryka. My pheonix." Ryka blinked at Keira curiously, before giving the best of a pheonix/bird like smile he could.

Rena looked intently at Ryka. "I've never seen a pheonix before. She's(he's?) beautiful," the redhead then looked around at everyone. "Do they all have their eggs? We should probably get going as soon as we can..."
